Only ten minutes pleasant walk from the centre of Llangollen, spacious grounds, lovely helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, and all for a very reasonable cost. The style and decor is a little dated but that did not bother us in the least. Llangollen is a great place to visit with it's spectacular wide river rapids, Steam railway, lots of nice pubs for food and real ales, and some nice shops for food etc. The famous Aqueduct is a short drive down the valley, but also a must see. - We had a fantastic time, many thanks.

We were booking hotles at short notice over a bnak holiday in the Llangollen area - my first two prefernce hotels in Llangollen were both fully booked. The hotle is pelasant a clean, but seems to lack any real atmosphere due I think to the very spread-out architecture. Among the remaioning hotels, and despite cost, we chose the Wild Pheasant because of the Spa faciilities. On arrival, we learnt that children below 16 were excluded from these facilities -ruling out half our party. Food was not the best - a chargrilled chicken that had never seen a grill, and poached eggs tasting of vinegar. Overall, a tad overpriced.

The Hall and the Restaurant is nice. The rooms ands tolilets were quite old. When I had opened the door to enter in my room I remembered the room in my grandmother Residence. I didn't like the treatment in the recepcion, but the waitress's treatment in the restaurant was lovely.

Very pleasant and relaxing. Friendly helpful staff. Food good and plentiful. We have stayed a few times at the Wild Pheasant. Enjoyed our stays but have to say it is rather pricey. Have to look for 'special deals'. Anne Hickey (and Gerald)

I come to the Wild Pheasant for the spa pool and sometimes for treatments. The pool was, as usual, relaxing and the reflexology treatment was very good. Disappointed to find that you no longer provide robes for spa users although as I was having a treatment I was allowed(!) a robe. I have been coming to the Wild Pheasant for over 5 years and always stay in a basic room. I imagine you get what you pay for but these rooms are becoming increasingly tired looking.

the spa sauna and hydro pool, the waiting staff in the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful well done to them. We went for an evening meal in the restaurant for 830pm which is not late, only to be told the restaurant had shut as it was quiet. I had been informed from the receptionist during check in their was no need to make a reservation in the restaurant as long as we arrived during their opening times 630-930pm which we did as was turned away. We had to have a bar meal which was ok but not what we wanted. We needed another hotel for the friday night so we went to the White Waters Spa and Restaurant were we recieved a friendly welcome and an evening meal. We will not be returning to this hotel ever again.,

Have stayed here several times, think it represents very good value for money. The half board food menu is good and wine list offers a good reasonably priced range. Spa is small but usually not crowded.

Location was great and the weather was good so this helped. Restaurant was good and the staff also good. looking on the Internet we paid too much for the room. It described our booking as superior double room when it was average. Only enough milk in room for one hot drink each too

Only 5 min walk to Llangollen, nice hydro pools, good breakfast Needs updating, if we had paid the full price I would have been very disappointed. As it is not worth the £99 they where asking on their own website

We got married here six years ago and have managed to return three times since. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is always relaxed. We always treat ourselves to a suite which is a little bit of luxury for us. The suites are just starting to get a little rough around the edges.

Food at the bar was very nice and breakfast was also very nice and staff at breakfast were very helpfully and polite When I went to use the spar the pool was luke warm apparently there was a problem with the heaters which wasnt good considering I was only there two nights so couldnt realy use it to the full potential because it wasnt warm enoff to relax in, also I was staying in room 222 and was kept up in the night from 11pm to 4am because of noise coming from the room next door (224) which started up again at 7am so wasnt happy at all I went down to the night porter and all he did was ring up and tell them to keep the noise down which did not help at all because the noise carried on he should of come up and knocked on there door or listened to the noise himself, also I was pestered after leaving the hotel for payment of my stay which I payed for and had proof of payment when we left the hotel in the mornin which I wasnt happy about

Rooms described as 'Superior' barely achieved the standard of a Premier Travel Inn (not intended to be critical of Prem Travel Inn) but at almost Treble the price. Bathroom tiles needed a good clean and stains on carpets and bedding were disturbing! Spa was only 'Warm' and therfore not particularly inviting. Comments to reception were greeted with only a passing concern.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, the food was very good quality from the bar menu to the evening menu we did very much enjoy our stay at the Wild Pheasant and 15 minutes from home is ideal. We would love to stay at the Wild Phesant again. The only one thing that we werent very happy with was the television only had two working channels.

It was very good value and it's location was great. It was a little rough around the edges. It needed a lick of paint. The water pressure for the showers was very low making it nearly unusable.

At £20 each b & b for a Monday evening: a great bargain. The hotel is in Llangollen which is an area of outstanding beauty and loads to do. It is possible to walk from the hotel into Llangollen or parking in the town costs £1.00 for 3 hours. Our room was spacious. Tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries, iron, hairdryer, trouser press and television. There was a nice indoor courtyard area with leather sofas and free newspapers. Had a bar snack rather than expensive dinner - very nice. Bathroom tiles abit shabby. Shower area over bath. There is no view from the hotel. Was not able to use the leisure facilities as they were closed for cleaning and the receptionist didn't warn us of this the previous evening.
