We stayed in a luxury suite for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The suite was wonderful with an amazing view of the sea. It was clean, luxurious and we were welcomed with Cava, chocolate and a personally signed Christmas card. The staff were all lovely and charming- would recommend this hotel whole heartedly
Having to leave to go back to work at Panto Matinee on Boxing Day
stayed before...staff always makes you feel special..hotel rooms are clean and a iron and board in the room and breakfast is the best...well done top bed and breakfast in Brighton....
we liked everything..
Very friendly staff, great location being right near the pier and a very comfortable bed (large double). Would stay here again.
WiFi was not great in the rooms. Had to resort to using 4G on my phone most of the time.
For our first visit to Brighton the hotel was in a great location with everything we could need at our finger tips. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel staff made us feel right at home. Will be recommending to family and friends as well as returning ourselves!
Nothing not to like....staff very helpful and friendly. Room spotless. Breakfast provided a good choice.
onsite entertainment and club
not being able to charge drinks to my room
Room was great and adequate for myself , very clean , a nice friendly hotel
Getting up early For work !!
Very friendly staff very helpful.
Couldn't get a full sea view room.
Nothing l did not like.My wife would stay again and she is fussy to say the least.
Pleasant and well mannered staff Excellent Breakfast Good location Clean accommodation
Some noise at night, but not too bad
Loved the atmosphere
Too noisy when you want an early night in
Just got back from a week end in Brighton. On arrival staff very helpful and welcoming. Very small double with very small shower and thin duvet. Breakfast amazing . My only problem was the night club was open till 5 am. So if you are looking for a restful nights sleep ask for a top floor room at the back of the hotel or stay somewhere else. This was my fault for not doing enough research. Other than that great stay great staff
Night club open till 5 am Small shower Thin duvet
Nice hotel great location
Slightly pricey for what was included
Everything, particularly the staff. The bar was a perfect area to start a night out, and breakfast in the morning was very generous full English and continental option! The location was ideal, just a 2 minutes from the lanes and main shopping area.
My wife and I wanted to spend the night in Brighton as we went there for her birthday dinner. This hotel offers the perfect location, they have great staff, offer a very yummy breakfast (served till 11:30) and have an awesome bar. Our room overlooked the pier, Ferris wheel and ocean which was great. All in all it's great value for money and we will definitely be back.
I rated the comfort of the bed as "fair", but just want to clarify: I thought it was a really nice bed, but woke up the next morning with such a sore/stiff back. However, as I thought it was a really good/nice bed to start off with, I can't blame it on the bed as I might have just slept in an awkward position that caused it. Rooms aren't very big, but you don't need much more anyway.
Great location and value for money
Staffs attitude Breakfast Gay /TV friendly
Not a lot
Has everything under one roof and gorgeous sea views
The hotel was welcoming and spacious, with amazingly friendly staff who were happy to help with anything. From our room we had a perfect view of brighton pier. Perfect location for shops, pubs and restaurants.
Atmosphere, the room, the staff, the bar the General hotel itself was a great stay will return soon
Very friendly and welcoming

Location, facilities and service were great. The most out standing thing about the break was the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who work there. Just only had to ask.... Thanks
Rooms were compact. Could have a little more space for the bathroom.
The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and chatty. He gave us all of the information we needed for our stay and made some great recommendations. The room was small but fine for a short sightseeing stay. We asked for a quiet room and got just that. Overall a very enjoyable trip.
The room was slightly small than expected and the bed was on wheels, which was slightly uncomfortable at times.
I loved the atmosphere and the staff were lovely. The breakfast selection was great (after a heavy night out in the basement) I come to Brighton often but rarely stay in hotels but I'll be booking with Legends again.
