Lovely comfortable beds, nice leisure facilities, good restaurant with well cooked food and an excellent breakfast which was included in the price Insufficient sound proofing and noisy guests. The swimming pool attendant should be inspecting the changing rooms and steam and sauna rooms as they quickly accumulate hair and stuff which makes the experience less enjoyable

Lovely comfortable beds & bedding . Pleasant staff & exceptionally clean . The bar prices really let this hotel down . I don't mind paying a little more but being completely ripped off is unacceptable.

Particular praise should be mentioned for a waitress called Kinga. She was a very helpful, very pleasant and friendly person who did everything possible to make a guests stay the best experience she could possibly provide. Front of house staff very cold and unwelcoming. Food on the first night was awful. £25 for a 10oz Lincolnshire sourced Sirlion steak. Came out cold, looked grey and tasted completely devoid of flavour. No pay per view movies, restricted to channels 1-5 with BBC News and Sky Sports 1. Luckily I had the Villa's 6-1 win and two Champions Leage semi final games to keep me occupied.

Breakfast was great Beds were comfy Room was clean Swimming pool was clean and big Steam room & Sauna were very relaxing Reception and Leisure staff were very welcoming and professional. Location, it is in the middle of nowhere and getting into the hotel from the motorway is tricky with all those junctions. Charging for the parking. I have already paid for the hotel and I am staying there, why do I have to pay for parking. Staff at breakfast were very slow in providing tea and would not let me fetch it myself. The restaurant is very expensive. The staff were all foreign with some barely speaking English. Why not employ local people or students so that they can make extra money. The tv was a lot of pressing this and that button just to watch normal tv. Not showing Aston Villa v Liverpool match at the bar (missed opportunity to get customers to socialise and use the bar)

Good gym, decent sized rooms and quiet. Easy access from m1 Over-priced very average wine starting around £7 per glass (175ml). Tired breakfast area with again charges for "extras" - ie hot chocolate instead of coffee. I also found some of the staff very difficult to understand

Location Comfort room food I booked the room believing the cost to be £129 however that does not include tax, all other hotels I use do not follow that practice the price you see booking online is the cost including tax. Charge for car park I think is ridiculous when I have come to spend money on a room & food & beverages. Charge for wifi in the room it's very rare i go to hotel and get charged for wifi very disappointing. I will not use the Marriott again to many hidden prices that are not neccessary.

An excellent hotel - perfect for an overnight stay after watching the Leicester Tigers. Great to use the pool and spa. I will be back soon! Had an evening meal - chose the plaice with tomato risotto - beware very salty!
