“Good location near to Streatham Hill Railway Station. Very quiet for a London Hotel. Breakfast fast and efficient”
Roger,
Beaminster
This impressive Victorian building is just 985 ft from Streatham Hill Train station, a 17-minute train ride from Victoria Station. It was once the home of Lord and Lady Leigham. In Lambeth in South London, the Leigham Court Hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the shops and amenities of Streatham. A full English breakfast is available every day, and there is a large, free parking lot on site. Today, this imposing Victorian residence houses well equipped hotel rooms, with a TV, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee-making facilities in each. Guests can also make use of a 24-hour front desk desk. Wandsworth and Wimbledon, home of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, can both be reached in 15 minutes’ drive. Hotel Rooms: 55 Most recent booking for this hotel was today at 10:51 from United Kingdom.

I was pleasantly surprised by Leigham. It offered good value for money and while the rooms were fairly basic they were perfectly adequate for a short stay and very clean. I would use again providing I needed to be that side of London as it is a little further out than I anticipated but that wasnt insurmountable as train station just a few hundreds yards away Not suitable for people with mobility problems due to stairs unless could guarantee downstairs room - if there was a lift it wasnt clearly visible. parking problem for guests arriving later in the day

I liked the staff that was kind and helped us in any needs. I also liked the comfort of the room. Staying here made me feel at home. I didn't liked the fact that our room was a little bit smelly although the next room where my friends have stayed wasn't smelling.

The staff was really friendly and helpfull and it isn't hard to reach the city centre of London. It takes about 10-15 minutes by bus, and then the tube which takes you everywhere you want to go. Compared to other hotels that are more centrally located it is quite cheap, and if you don't mind travelling a little longer, it is a good hotel to visit. The breakfast is quite a dissapointment as they hardly serve any food (some dry toast, jam, cheese and ham) and the dinning room doesn't smell to great.

When we arrived the receptionist seemed pretty non responsive to be fair, I'm not sure why he was that way, but shouldn't portray that to the customer, makes us feel like couldn't care if we stayed there or not. room was comfortable - bed was great, smaller bathroom than we are used to but clean. we were on the ground floor and in the path of the route to the breakfast room, so were awoke several times by loud customers walking past the room.. breakfast was average.. self service for juice and toast, but serviced full english if required. not sure if the sausages had any sausage meat in them, they didnt taste like they had..possible "bangers".. not surprisingly cutting corners. no bar at hotel so couldn't have a wee nightcap at end of night, a bit dissapointing, no wifi available, but free parking was a bonus.. no bar in hotel so couldn't meet friends and have a drink before going out and likewise couldn't have a night cap at end of night and chat about events either..rooms on route to breakfast room doors were too thin and so voices and noises quite noticable, as bed is quite close to door as it was a triple room also. bathroom could do with renovating, shower was a little small for the room..

Location. Handy for Streatham Hill station. Staff were quite helpful. Works being carried out at the hotel. The fire alarm in one of the adjoining corridors (not accessible to the Porter) had a low battery which caused it to beep about once a minute during the night. The breakfast room was very basic. Standard of food was average. The rear extension rooms were quite a long distance from the front door with a few stairs and fire doors.

This was our first visit. We were very pleased with the friendly approach of the reception staff on our arrival. Our double room was of a good size and was clean and well decorated. The en-suite was well planned. In addition the public areas were tasteful and also very clean and clutter-free. My husband appreciated the option to choose a smoking room. The easy on-site car parking was a bonus. We felt that over-all it was excellent value for the money. We would be happy to stay there again. While the other public areas are nice, the dining room could have been better presented. It was rather like a school dining hall. The tables were in long rows and some form of tablecloth on the formica tabletops would have made things cosier. The cooked breakfast was fine and well cooked but could have looked more appetizing. Our friend (also staying there) did not have any choice of food (other than fried egg) although we had registered her as vegetarian when we booked. The dining room staff were friendly. A lift would have been nice as we were on the second floor.

Good location near station etc. The hotel has a large car park which is always useful in London. The rooms are clean and tidy. It always rings alarm bells when you're handed the remote with your keys. However Leigham Court is pleasant enough and not expensive for London. They seem to be improving the hotel as work was ongoing when I visited. The breakfast area is more like a canteen with a very small choice. A few small improvements here and the hotel is fine at the price bracket they have set.

Nothing! Hotel was very basic, nothing to even suggest they had a bar or meals to serve Service with a smile ..............no! Only when leaving did the receptionist break into a half hearted smile. it served its purpose nothing else to remark on but I will say- This is a typical hotel that is a building to make money No thought of the travellers at all, it felt like an open prison I can see how they sucker desperate foreigners in paying for this service, which sadly represents London as you pay for what you get poor service and hospitality.

I Liked the helpfulness of the staff and the fact that rooms on the ground floor had been provided for us because of my mother's current levels of mobolity. We also thoght the breakfast was excellent. The bed spread and pillows in one of our rooms needed to be changed as they needed washing.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant, although there was work being carried out which was pointed out to us and which we only heard in the morning before going out. The purpose of our stay was on a personal basis and the reception staff could not have been more helpful for which we were very appreciative. If we stayed in this part of London again we would certainly use this hotel.

Security - always someone on reception and door entry by permission of receptionist. Helpful staff, friendly and room pleasantly decorated. Clean. Beds very comfortable. Choice at breakfast restricted in comparison to other similarly priced hotels but adequate and well cooked. Would recommend as good value for that area of London, close to Streatham shops, station etc. All very good for price paid.
