Large space and amenities for our Family Wedding event. No lift or reserved parking for disabled clients. Also no rain cover between main hotel and function room (guests had to walk outside hotel).

The solitude and the general ambience We had come for a school reunion dinner, which I thought was substandard. However a good time was had by all.

The grounds and the location of the hotel it was very lovely. The staff was very helpful. I was happy with all the service. There was another of points I would like to bring to your attention: 01. The rooms, hallway and corridedoor where very cold. I wasn't the only guest to mention this to the staff. 02. Room 31 (this is the room I stayed in) in between the radiator was some much dust, which was very shocking as the rooms was very tidy.

Excellent in terms of peace and privacy with a spacious room and good bathroom. Quality of food was above and beyond as well as abundant. It was more something in line with a 5 star hotel. The dinner service was excellent but see dislikes below. The dinner menu was limited in choice and expensive - again in line with 5 star and was 5 star prices. Since I had invited others and was paying the bill, dining there was something I would not have done had I done my research properly - e.g. there was no "children's food" on the menu. While the accom was excellent, the concept of twin rooms is different. Mine had a luxurious double bed and a portable "guest" bed for my son. There is no elevator in the hotel - its a 3 star of course but it should be known that you can come across quite a lot of stairs.

Fine location for visiting our grandson in Bath, lovely grounds and beautiful building. The staff were most helpful and the rooms comfortable. Poor state of the windows in room39, they had mould on them, were rotting in places and did not close properly. The painting of them needs attention as does the external paintwork of the building(weeds in gutters) The breakfast choice was first class, however the pre-cooked food was cold by the time we sat down to enjoy it.

Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay again! In our case it would have been better to have had ground floor rooms since there is no lift which wasn't clear to me at the time I booked on line.however the staircase has gradual steps so we were able to cope.

It was a very pleasent hotel in an excellant location. The dinner in the restaurant was superb My hotel room was looking old, dark and tired. The bathroom had peeling paint and black mould around the window.

T he staff were very helpful and pleasent. The room we had was a twin bed one, it was very constricted for two people although the bathroom was almost as big, I would stay there again provided a larger twin room was available.

Staff were excellent. Cuisine outstanding unexpectedly so and good value for money. It is used a lot for weddngs ceremonies/receptions and there is a lot of pressure on facilities at those times. Our room worked well: it was quiet, comfortable and had great view across the Wiltshire countryside to the Downs. The room allocated to us was up flight of stairs and then at the very end of a corridor so not the easiest access. Old folks beware!

Very efficient staff and very welcoming. My room was lovely and very clean. As a single woman travelling on business on my own, I would have maybe preferred to have been in the main building rather than in the annexe, as I didn't see anyone at all during my stay so it was quite lonely.

Proximity to Bradford-on-Avon; nothing else. Shabby, dreary, unattractive common areas. Nowhere to sit in gardens and terrace only had two tables.

The hotel is the best one we have stayed in in Bradford-on Avon. Bathroom and bedroom were comfortable with clean towels and nice products and tea making facilities. Bed was good and service at breakfast was excellent. Really enjoyed the cooked breakfast and choice of pastries. Always a nice experience. Will definitely return. All fine, although on one visit a couple of years ago, we entered the gate and the sun was low and the jutting out piece of wall on the right side was not easy to see and scraped the side of the car - maybe better if it was white or removed?

Our room was large and very well furnished. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The view was amazing. The hotel is located at the outskirts of the town so it's very calm and quiet there. It could be a perfect place for a wedding reception due to its picturesque surroundings. The staff at the reception was helpful. The breakfast was really disappointing as the waitress was quite rude and unhelpful. We were the only guests there at 7.30 but had to wait for almost 45 mintues to have a plain English breakfast served. The omelette was not good at all, the staff at the breakfast was probably annoyed that we turned up so early and was not helpful at all.
