Cheap Location Can't really grumble for the price Clean enough
Rooms are shabby Showers are small and sometimes don't work too well
- small double bed - dirty walls and carpets - small bathroom - breakfast served untill 9:20 after that evertyhing is cleaned - too expensive for that standard I do not recommend at all!!!
All of it
Rooms are very small
The location is excellent, the street is quite, in the hotel there was no noise. Bed was very comfortable! We had also the exit to the roof from our window :). So it made our staying very exciting :). For my daughter it was the best staying ever! Coffee at breakfast was strong and very good quality (usually i don't consider coffe at hotel as somethibg special, but this one was surprisingly perfect).
The floor and walls are quite dirtry. And there were no shampoo or gel in the bathroom (only soap). But we didn't expect too much for this value of money, so we weren't disappointed!
Hotel was quiet, breakfast was ok but the salt pots had been filled with pepper and vice versa. Perhaps indicative of a failure to supervise staff properly . Room was small, no chair to sit on nor bedside table. The Hotel was freshly decorated and well carpetted.
The fact part payment was taken on non UK credit card before arrival and that when I asked for a chair or stool for the room the Receptionist I spoke to later after booking in told me I should not expect such things for such a cheap room. To be fair later after I said that was unacceptable a chair was brought to my room. Also there was no glass to hold water etc. The small cupboard under the hangers had several weeks worth of dust, the odd sock and other rubbish under it.
EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY!!! Light and airy reception Helpful staff Decent quality breakfast for price Excellent location Clean rooms Requests all granted Close to 2 underground stations offering 3 main lines Close to local pubs, supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops etc. Offers a lift Warm in winter Private bathroom
Bathroom was a bit small, like a cruise ship bathroom, but it was clean.
Breakfast was good
The room smelled like a sewer The room was extremely cramped Bathroom you had to be a contortionist to sit on the toilet
The bed was comfortable with a good room service. You can enter/leave at any hour 24/24 since there is always someone of the staff at the reception.
Paid WiFi for 10 pound every day was a bit expensive so we skipped it, but they had a connected pc usable with 1pound/15mins. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and every room must reserve a 20 minutes period (probably because the dinner room is not capable of holding all customers at once). They wasn't anyways so strict about it.
Small bathroom. No free wifi. The breakfast could be better
Very small room Limited breakfast choice
The fact that I could book for the days I wanted !
Where to start ? No sink in the room, had to walk up Three flights of stares to get to the Loo, Stone cold room so I had to have the heating on all night which clicked on and off all night. Two steps to get in or out of the room ?
Bathroom was (surprisingly) clean. Breakfast was better than expected (toasts, drinks, hard boiled eggs, choco paste, peanut butter, cereals, ...) and we had a water boiler for tea/coffee on the room. Cheaper than a YHA hostel room for 4 people and without the bunk beds + towels and breakfast included :).If you are looking for a hostel for a group, you might as well take this hotel.
Still rather far from underground. Room was very small (4 persons room) with barely any room to put our bags and stuff. Heating was on and room was very hot (and no way to put it out), even in cold weather, we had to sleep with the window completely open :s.
Great if you aren't fussy and just want a bed to come back to at the end of a long day. The location was good, a5 minute walk to the underground. It was a very basic, double, ensuite room for less than £80 a night - which is hard to find in London. Clean.
The beds were foam, which meant it wasn't too comfortable. Staff were uninterested. Constant harrassment on final day to 'get out by 11', this meant I left a few items in the room as we left in a rush.
rooms as boxes
Great location. Good value for money Comfortable bed Quiet
They could clean the carpets, it was a bit filthy in our room. The walls could do with a fresh layer of paint. We didn't expect something amazing but they could refurbish a bit, it wouldn't do any harm.
Shabby all round which could be improved with a bit of maintenance. Cheap and nasty breakfast. One milk portion each in the room and very cheap coffee.
Quite and relaxed atmosphere. Easy to get a taxi to London town center. Walking distance to Bayswater Station where you can find a lot of food and souvenir shops.
The staff is not very friendly. They don't smile when you pass them by. The lift is too small.
Everything was nice and tidy. The staff could be a bit friendlier (some where great, others meh) but overall we had a great time in London. Would come again.
Rich and 'free' breakfast (slightly above average standard) Helpfull staff (never to be taken for granted in London...)
Old carpet (standard in London) Room size (standard in London)
You didn't feel welcome of the employeers. Extremely bad breakfast (coffe with white bread pretty much).
Location was good, friendly welcoming staff.
Room was poor, very tired and in desperate need to renovation. Shower was leaking into the bedroom and carpet soaking wet. Only 2 plug sockets in the room. Wifi reception poor in room - odd as router on same floor.
The location is good
Hotel very dirty, smells bad and dirt stains are on the carpet, walls, its disgusting The receptionist was very arrogant and rude. She definitely has an altitude problem !!
Close to where we needed to be
All the staff was poor at speaking English and was quite rude at times. Tried to charge £5 for getting a bit of makeup on a towel!
The room and bed were very small. Not suitable for a couple. They moved us to a larger room for the second night.
