It is a beautiful hotel in a great location I paid for a double room - £125 and was given a single room with single bed which made sleep virtually impossible, This is a very expensive hotel which is not worth the rate although they did take £25 off it still made a single bed with breakfast £100 which is unacceptable. |

Location was great and on site parking Room was very small and so was the bed, the decoration was tired as so was other areas of the hotel. The shower had no hot water and upon checking out the service was slow and not enough staff to allow for the amount of guests. |

I booked 2 rooms ,the room we stayed in was very nice.But my friends was put in the basement rooms and they were very shoddy.we complained.and the second night was given another room.In all I didnt think it was value for money .The hotel was in a very good location,has very good facilities but the difference from 1 room to another at the same price is not very good. |

The swimming pool and sauna/steam room are very nice, as is the location. Our room was tiny, the bed was horrible in that it sloped from one side to the other, as well as having one side up against the wall. Also it was a very noisy room due to being right next to the train station platform. |

The size of the bedroom and the bathroom, both were huge. Also the gym, steam room, + pool were excellent. Unfortunately the bed was just about the smallest size you could still class as a double, despite the room being huge. |

It was conveniently placed with good facilities and friendly staff. Couple of small quibbles - every time we were served coffee (at dinner and breakfast twice over two days) it was almost cold. And tableclothes would have made the restaurant seem more "special" and less like school dinners off formica top tables. The food was good, and bare tables may have looked "stylish" on entering the dining room, but up close for a meal seemed a bit bleak. |

the hotel its self was clean, tidy and big, It was the tiny tiny tiny room that let them down They gave us the smallest room right down the very back of the hotel over looking a yard(room 111). the bathroom floor was lob sided. the room was cold, the window didnt work. when we complained to staff they just shugged there shoulders |

Spa facilites, Central for all amenities, Friendly staff, Clean. Room allocated in annex away from main body of hotel thus too far from reception and amenities area, very bad smell of drains in room and adjacent area, Heating pipes very noisy causing disturbed sleep, 'York Pass' that was charged for poor value as most attractions shut and hotel did not inform us of this. Rediculously over-priced bar! |

The staff were friendly and helpfull, the location was good for all the ameneties. The food was of a good quality When we arrived the room we were allocated had workmen outside the windows. We asked for another room which we got after a wait of 30-40 minutes. We should have been informed of the work been carried out. The first morning breakfast was in another room and no toast was available. |

We had been before and enjoyed our stay We were very disappointed with the standard of our room, in the past we had fantastic rooms with all you would expect from this standard of hotel. This time however our room was small with a tiny bathroom, nobiscuits with the coffee, hardkey any shampoo etc. |
