Location great, but room in need of refurbishment, price a little high for the room that we stayed in, better rooms and cheaper across the road in the Westminster.

The beds were very uncomfortable for the price of hotel, plus £15 parking fee for hotel car park. As there is a car park across the road which only charges £2,50 for the whole days parking

Nice old style full of character hotel within easy access of the town. Staff were helpful and the food at breakfast was very good.

Bar prices are very high, car park cost is high, Unable to open the window as it was broken, no air conditioning.

Surprisingly classy, rooms, staff were ace, breakfast and the band playing was a nice touch.

This hotel is vastly overpriced for what you get. It is tired and shabby but the prices are very high. Simply not worth it. The room was so tired. The bedside lights did not work but were fixed when I requested it.

Hotel was nicely refurbished although chairs in some lounges were getting grubby

Poor restaurant facility for evening meal on the Sunday night. No a la carte menu, we were not seated 'til 9pm and food tasted like it had been ready since 7. Still had to pay full price even though staff agreed it had been sub standard

The fact that at breaksfast time the manager actually remembered our group of four people. The rooms were lovely decorated, clean and comfy beds.

Choice of menu quite expensive we thought, and a little limited in varieties.

It took six days to change a light bulb in the bathroom -- room 230, tv always had a film on it even after a special request to clean it Window was never fixed so that we could close it -- it blew open constantly. The upgrade to suite at Kings -- we had to refuse it as it appeared to have been done on the cheap and the furniture was not of a comfortable standard.

The room was in good condition and clean

The bed was positioned extremely close to a wardrobe which restricted the access to one side of the bed; people less mobile would find this extremely awkward if not impossible

The whole experience of staying at the Queens was as always great

The staff were very friendly and professional and went the extra mile for you to enjoy your stay. The food was fantastic and the location was excellent.

Every thing about our stay was spot-on. The staff, the meals, the room, the location and the general atmosphere and organisaton of the Queen were, in total, superb.
