This hotel has a theme style decor which was very interesting and makes it just that bit different from the average.
Our bed was king size and perhaps 2 singles joined together. We both felt we were going to roll out because of the height in the middle. This was probably just unlucky as another friend had a lovely bed.
Close to the old city
everything was satisfactory
The location and parking facilities
We were with friends 4 of us, I requested a table for dinner, reception confirmed table for dinner and then stated it could only cope with two people not 4, what a joke then attempted to sell us breakfast, room in the tower block at the back awful.
We like the Queen Hotel and the Staff in the restaurant are excellent.
I booked into the Queen Hotel and on arrival was told that My room was in the Kings Hotel, I complained as my wife likes to stay in the old part of the hotel (Queen Hotel) this is the third time this has happened and we are very disappointed that this keeps happening. On our previous visit in Dec. 2013 it happened but after we complained they gave us a room in the Queen Hotel. Unfortunately this time (24th Sept ) when we complained and requested a room in the Queen Hotel as we had reserved, we were told there were none available and we had to settle for a room in the King Hotel. The King Hotel is very nice but we prefer to stay in the Queen Hotel and would appreciate in future if we could get what we reserved.
Decor Space Staff
Air con in room far too noisy, it could not be used over night.

The room was spotless and faultless The view from the room The relaxed atmosphere in the courtyard Staff were very attentive and helpful
There was nothing
Handy for city centre
Comfort and furnishing of the room

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff: lovely bathroom.
Just a little shabby in some corners.
Staff, location and rooms
Someone dented my car outside the main entrance.
Amazing hotel Exceptionally clean and a bed to die for Great location
Everything! The cocktail bar is a must and everything about the hotel is utter class!
Great friendly staff, good sized room & nice & clean. They upgraded us when we arrived which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was great - good service & selection & until 10am too :-)
We didn't have a bad experience
Excellent location & facilities were really good the weather was super so sitting out on the terrace was perfect
Excellent breakfast menu. Large room and bed. Staff helpful and professional. Close to railway station with a bus into the city shopping area every 10 minutes. Close to the beautiful park and river Dee areas.
Breakfast tables seemed a little cramped- not much space between them which was fine when not busy but difficult at peak times. Shower could have been better with a hand held attachment.
The standard of accommodation was first class. The layout of the hotel met our needs and the staff were friendly and approachable. We were going to the races on the Sunday and the hotel is sited only a short distance from the track. We enjoyed a good nights sleep with no noisy traffic or loud guests to consider and will return to this hotel in the future.
Nothing of note.
This isn't a chain and isn't decorated like one Friendly staff Excellent Location
Loved the hotel have been staying at the Queens since our engagement 33 years ago.love the style of the modernised rooms.
Missed breakfast 1st morning but stiill had to pay. Bit of a shock that we had to pay to park at the hotel,as we have not in the past. Also have ordered food later in the evening & eaten in the lounge but when we ordered this time we were told we had to take it to our rooms seemed ridiculous!!!!!
The breakfast offering and the service were excellent although orange juice was not cold. We enjoyed drinks and light meals in The Waiting Room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished. We enjoyed the courtyard, particularly during hot evenings.
We were in a west facing room -- very hot. No fan. No hooks in the bathroom. Not enough towel rails in the bathroom -- how could we dry and re-use towels? Reception staff didn't know about hire car discount arrangement.
The Lily Langtry upgrade, a delightful surprise. The wide variety of breakfast choices (spoilt for choice). The Italian courtyard quiet and peaceful. The desire to visit again.
No cooler for drinks in the suite.
Good menu and food quality in the restaurant. Lovely bathroom (new Kings wing)
