I liked the location, and the staff were very kind. Breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and fast. I would have liked to have papers. I think a hotel at that place and that level should do something about that. I am sure we all be happy to pay for them, but to go to the station on those very wet mornings... |

The rooms were clean and well furnished. Generally tha staff were effiecient and friendly - especially at reception. My room was cold (317), and the fire in reception was turned off during the daytime. This was on a wet and cold weekend. It was difficult to get waiting staff attention for a pot of tea at breakfast. |

Location is good. Staff are friendly. Lounge is nice. I found it difficult to sleep. I was in Room 514. I got the impression that I was on the top floor under the attic because there was a lot of noise up there during the night, sounded like birds or something in the attic. The bed could have a bit more comfortable but in general I think it was the attic-noise that was waking me. The bathroom was OK but the grouting was very discoloured and the curtain could do with being replaced. |

The receptionist found me another room and was friendly and helpful. The phone costs were a 'rip of'' . It put me right off the hotel. My first room was noisey and would have benifitted from double glazing. |

Very good location not far from the railway station, but in a relativly quiet part of town. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms comfortable and clean. A nice atmosphere. I'd stay there again. |

We felt welcome and were well looked after.Nothing to much trouble. Fantastic breakfast, set us up for the day! Cleaners/laundry/housekeeping person knocked on the door at 8.30am and entered without waiting for a reply. Thankfully she quickly left when we shouted. |

Very handy for town centre, railway station and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good "old-fashioned quality" feel about it. Car parking was very tight and not always available. Wine prices in the bar were expensive and breakfast could have been better quality. |

The Hotel is well situated in central Leeds. A small hotel car park. Not possible to reserve a space. For those arriving by car I would advise you choose another. |
