Near to station. Reasonably good quality rooms. Resturant good for this style of hotel although service slow.

Room Size --- more cupboard like than a hotel room. Needs updating. Old / tired furniture Large old TV set / poor quality picture ! Breakfast - poor service waited 20 mins. for tea and toast having to request twice. Table not cleared properly from previous occupant. N0- Wifi in rooms and poor output from communal areas

The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.

The room was a bit shabby around the edges - lots of scuffs everywhere and looked a bit 'used'. The TV was ancient!

Very well located in respect of the railway station. Good meeting facilities.

Bit of a struggle negotiating the gap between shower screen and toilet as bathroom is quite small but ok.

The location was fabulous, really close to the station, and it was a lovely grand old hotel with great decor. The price I got from Booking.com was very reasonable. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all, my visit was very relaxing.

The rooms are always very clean and spacious. Location is perfect as 5 minute walk from the station and the shops.

Fantastic room for myself and my two sons aged 14 and 12- gorgeous beds comfortable clean and spacious- excellent value for money. Will definitely stay again.

The bedroom was great as we had an infant child they gave us a very large room

During and immediately after using the shower, the bathroom floor was basically flooded.

We check in at 4.00pm after along travel from London. We greeted by a swing door that hit my friend head, fair to say its a windy day. Nice stair case and fire place. Convenient to the city centre n train station. Good location.

Check in, were given room on second floor. Found that the room was not made, dirty wine glass.call the reception, was told to go back to reception. The receptionist wasnt really interested in changing us to a different room, kept telling there is no roim available. Told us to wait. We were offer a complimentry drink by perhaps one of the manager on duty. All the time we waited no one had come to us and keep us informed. We waited for almost and hour before we decided to go and ask the front desk about our room. The receptionist took one glance at us and just with quiet almost unheard mouth at us saying the room is ready for us.

The outside of the hotel is very pretty, the foyer also very attractive, the bathroom was large, white and excellent.
