Staff very friendly. Food excellent
Effervescent manager Sam & his lovely staff will take care of your every needs.
The lemon tree was a very nice well decorated hotel
Children running around at breakfast, broken latch on the window and it couldn't be closed, running out of bread at breakfast
Paper thin walls
Staff The shack Being force fed tequila during a business meeting Great selection of red wine
The fact that I probably won't be back for ages - but when I do will go back here for sure
Hand b&b whilst visiting my daughter.
Single glazed Windows, cold and noisy from traffic outside.
noise from the bar and traffic was loud
Nice decor, especially in the room adjacent to the small bar area, candles burning, lovely. Very friendly guy in charge, funny!
Quite noisy from the traffic as very near a roundabout. Liqueur coffee was better third time round... Steak really quite expensive, asked for rare, was more medium.
Service Design Food
Window was/is broken Room was very dusty
the staff were nice i didnt get the name of one lad who served us our lunch on the 30th november he really made our meal very enjoyable
we did enjoy our meal but it was quite expensive maybe a lunch special
Good restaurant, friendly staff.
Carpet could do with a clean. Very noisy room over the front door. Girls going out for a smoke on Saturday night let it bang every time they went through it.
Quite different to the impression given by the lovely website. Not nearly as well furnished, single glazed, old and basic bathroom, lights not working... Poor breakfast selection, again not in keeping with impression on website.
tea/biscuit/water facilities in room were nice. hairdryer in room. breakfast was tasty and generous.
1) Bed mattress was uncomfortable: hard and springy. 2) At breakfast, took too long to get food: 10 mins until order was taken and 20 mins for food to arrive. allow for that into your morning schedule. 3) difficult to get hot enough water in shower without turning up pressure to a strong setting.
staff friendly although indifferent to the fact that our window could not shut or the sink had no plug, location close to amenities
The window handle in the bedroom was broken so the window could not be shut, this was a huge problem as the hotel is on a very busy main road so the road traffic kept us awake most of the night. The sink did not have a plug. Would not stay again.
Staff are really helpful and very friendly.. Evening meal if a tad pricey was very nice. 3rd time visitors - wouldn't stay anywhere else to be honest.
a little bit noisy (from the street)
The meal in the restaurant was very good, and the next night's tapas in The Shack bar was tasty and good value. The shower was a little temperamental, but workable and the room was big enough. Good location to explore the Welsh Dales and canals.
Some noise late on the Saturday night.
Friendly staff, good restaurant & snack shack, good breakfast.
Door lock faulty - seems like it was locked but would push open. Shower handle broken making it difficult to turn on. Sink plug release not working. Bed uncomfortable - leaning slightly. Room kind of depressing or at least not particularly welcoming.
The Staff, The Food, the ambiance
The Lumpy bed room 10 !!!! Sorry
Surprisingly quiet at night. Cleanliness and pleasant, helpful staff. Very nice breakfast choice.
The car park squeeze between the main premises and wall was a bit of a concern!
We've stayed in the Lemon Tree a few times when visiting my son who lives close by. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts are excellent. We stayed for one night and it was a mere £60 - can't go wrong! Hope to visit again soon.
There was little not to like. Staff went out of their way for us. Food was excellent. Room was comfortable - if perhaps a little small. Bed was very comfortable. Everything spotlessly clean.
Main road position made it noisy until quite late at night and then again quite early in the morning
Bed was really comfy Room was a good size Breakfast had good options Staff came to our room to check if we needed anything tea/coffee during the day.
We could hear people in the corridor easily when in our room, floors were a bit squeaky. Nobody was there at the time I arrived to check in. We had to ring the hotel to get their attention.
The breakfast was fab. The lady that served us was really nice and chatty.
The window would not shut. Bulb in bathroom not working. No plug for the sink so we had to use the one from the bath. The above the bed was very poor.
