Very good,
Score from 69 reviews
“ We enjoyed every minute in Lennox Lea. This place has charm. It was our second stay there and we would stay here again and again and again ... The room was big enough, very quiet and clean and cosy. Great breakfast and very, very nice staff. It's perfectly located, close to the tram station. Easy access to Manchester city. Anytime again! ”

Excellent Breakfast, good sized bedrooms and convenient location Could do with a bit of updating. We couldn't have a night cap in the bar as the lounge has to be locked up and the alarm put on so we had to take our drinks to a bedroom. Under our room there was a BBQ area and we could hear talking and a bit of noise until after 02.00am.

The Staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was very tasty and hearty. The room was very spacious and we had access to a separate bathroom and shower. We would stay again The decor was a little care worn e.g. stains on the carpet in our bedroom. The mattress was not quite firm enough for our needs. Again for our needs the top pillow was quite small and not as comfortable as we would have liked.

Location was good. The room was incredibly small, advertised as small but this was ridiculous. Toilet in one cupboard, Washbasin & shower in another cupboard. Booked b&b but was only allowed continental, should state this on advert. I would not stay here again.

Beautifully maintained 'old school' hotel in very quiet location with excellent attentive staff, very clean, superb rooms with every facility you could want - we had an executive room (The Busby Suite) Excellent cooked breakfast served by caring staff. Free car parking and 10 minute walk to Tram to Manchester town centre. Difficult to find fault. Maybe some noise from other guests and a noisy bathroom fan - but nothing to worry anyone.

It was a bit like staying at Fawlty Towers..However the staff were all very friendly. Disapointed the restaurant is not open at weekends, so had to have a take out, although the hotel do allow this and provide cutlery. Also I was allowed to leave my vehicle once I had checked out to visit Manchester City Centre. Nice gesture

Only stayed there one night but really enjoyed it. Was in easy reach of the Trafford Centre, where we were visiting. Good to be able to get a drink in the bar after a long day and getting back late. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, area quiet, got a good sleep and breakfast was excellent. And it was clean! Could only find one fault , if any, just needed a tidy up decor wise in the bedroom!

My No 1 priority was a quiet location, within easy reach of Metrolink, and Lennox Lea certainly offers that. Nice to walk thru the park nearby, room was airy and clean. A few things worth noting for guests: - food is not great. Dinner in the "bistro" is just a few unashamedly microwaved dishes. Breakfast is basic too and the coffee was undrinkable. - bar staff were 'functional' not friendly - made me feel I was in the way.

The hotel staff are very friendly and kindly, the location is also good, one can find easy access to the city center and also there are many restaurants close to. Rooms are clean but the carpet inside the rooms create a big problem to allergic people

Our stay was very good with only one slight regret. Although we returned at 11.25pm from an evening function the bar in the hotel was not functional (no-one there to serve).
