Leopold Hotel  

Hotel superbly situated, rooms tastefully elegant,linen perfect! Staff attentive to every need, very friendly and caring! One of my favourite hotels, I frequently stay and have often recommended it to both friends and family!

friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. very conveniently situated for our purposes. We got a good deal with the parking arrangements

Standard of the food was rather ordinary. We mostly ate out.

We were going to the City Hall and the location of the Leopold was ideal, there were bars and food available in the courtyard opposite. We parked at the Q-Park (5 mins away) and got a discounted ticket from the Leopold reception for £7 to cover our overnight stay.

Location

The staff were so kind, friendly and professional. A genuine welcome and exceptionally helpful. I had arrived early and needed to get rid of my case. The gentleman behind the desk located a room for me which was available. It was not a problem or an issue. He even said that he was unable to show me to my room as he was currently on the front by himself. I was amazed as in the numerous hotels I stayed in no one has ever offered to show me to my room. Excellent service from the staff at the hotel A*.They could teach some other hotels a thing or two. The hotel is next to the square which had lovely bars and restaurants so you didn't have to walk too far. It was brilliant, an enjoyable stay and a place that I would recommend to friends

Very attractive city location. There was a salsa event in the square which was wonderful.

The fridge didnt work

Location was excellent for venues and restaurants. Great staff.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location with great staff and is value for money. Frequent visitor to this hotel.

No discount for children's breakfast.

Staff were absolutely excellent. Decor was to a very high standard.

Only problem was that the duvet was too thick - we were too hot with it on but too cold with it off !! A minor point.

Location, great room, helpful staff

Room service food was not brilliant. Generous portions though. Could be improved on, however it was 11pm at night and the hotel said the main cook was not working.

Lovely room, perfect central city location. Almost next to the city hall ( great for the concert we were going to) lovely hotel, with very friendly staff.

We had noise from the trams, as our room was located near the tram route.

The staff were attentive and the facilities excellent

The breakfast ingredients were completely unacceptable. Cheap bread, poor sausages, cheap grapefruit. Appalling haddock, insufficient butter. All served and prepared very well however. The ingredients must be improved as they let down your kitchen. Your staff graciously took this on board and did not charge but a breakfast is often the feature of the morning. The ingredients would have disgraced a motorway service area at its worst. Wetherspoons knocked it into fits the previous day.

All staff were friendly, room was lovely, all areas of hotel were very clean.

For the price, we thought breakfast should have been included, we also had to buzz down to reception to get more coffee and milk in room as not enough were provided, however they were brought immediately to the room

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, old fasioned in a nice way. Lots of places to eat just a stones throw from the hotel.

A fabulous hotel right in the centre of Sheffield.. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and very very quiet. The staff were very professional and attentive and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Parking was a short walk away and totally secure, bright and clean. I am very picky about hotels and I have to say this one is excellent.

Nice hotel, great location for a night out.

Car parking is an issue here. The recommended car park is too far away, the hotel should do a deal with the ncp which is much closer. In the pouring rain no one wants to walk over 400 yards from car park to hotel!!

Stayed before always been helpful and friendly. The Leopold is in a central location handy for shops and restaurants.
