The Wealth of Courtesy Just the the narrow road was an issue....as tree branches damaged the top of our which is no fault of the hotel...but would deter us if we were on business..

The staff were very friendly. The public areas were well appointed. The breakfasts and restaurant were very good. Listening to other guests they seem to return every summer year after year. The bedrooms were poor. The decor was very dated. Wake up to see ceiling tiles. The en suite is 6 foot by 2 foot. It's the width of the shower tray. The wash basin is in the bedroom. You can't shave and shower in the same room. You can't use the toliet and wash your hands in the same room. There is a games room in a windowless, airless basement. The Friday and Saturday evening entertainment was poor. The hotel is difficult to find after dark. It's off a B road in the country. No street lights or illuminated signs to help.

Brilliant indoor swimming pool - swam everyday. Tennis court available. Indoor table tennis and pool if fancied. Staff really friendly and caring. Breakfast good - something for everyone. Overall experience - relaxing and enjoyable. Room a bit dated, dark and cramped. Shower cubicle tiny.

The hotel was very clean, the food very good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I was very dissappointed with the the spa. The jets in the jucuzzi were not all working, the steam room was out of order and the sauna needs a bit of repair as I sat on a screw or nail that was sticking out from the wooden seat. Only used this facility once and that was the main reason for staying at your hotel.

The staff were excellent and couldn't be faulted. The Hotel itself is very dated although clean and comfortable. I would recommend Les Charriers as it is in a very good location Just the fact that it is very old and dated

The staff were so helpful, we asked many questions about the Island and places to go. The receptionist (whichever was there) was always willing to take the time to explain things and tell us what we needed to know - even to the point of where to get a Jersey vehicle number plate from (I collect them). The food was excellent, if somewhat rich for my tastes, but obviously prepared by a good chef and presented very well. we did not use the swimming pool or tennis courts butwe could see that they were well maintained. I think the only thing would be that the beds were too soft (I have a dodgy back) but when I mentioned it in passing, the receptionist immediately offere to put a bed board in to make it firmer.

The staff had an excellent manor and attitude. They were always smiling and very helpful. This hotel is very difficult to find with or without a sat nav. It is very poorly sign posted. The hotel itself is very tired and in need of a complete refurb. The shower is very small and I would say not big enough for anyone who may be on the large side. The whole hotel is very old and not in the nice way (it is dated). The tv is also dated and it had a very poor reception.

Fantastic staff especially Florin and Natasha.. Please get rid of the old TVs..flatscreens dont cost that much! The walls are extremely thin and you can hear people doing various things like snoring and using the loo..so take your ear plugs...

Easy atmosphere, staff very welcoming, liked the breakfsts. The bed was quite uncomfortable, the sauna was not working, parking was a bit cramped but I realise that is beyond your control. Our first night our meal was fine, but the fish cake was black on the outside (very overcooked). I know you were busy the desert of baileys cheesecake was drowned in blackcurrant sauce which made it quite horrid I| did mention this apparently the waitress dressed it and did not realise how powerful the sauce was, I do sugest that the chef gives them a tasting session before he allows them to help. The vegetables were rock hard on both nights I had carvery I would not risk eating vegetables very often at the hotel.

The room was spacious, and there was adequate storage too.The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We came for a wedding at the Hotel and arrived on the island on an early flight at 8am although unable to check in at the time were were accommodated in our room before 11am and were able to take our bags upto the room before we left for the ceremony. The lounge and reception were welcoming and spacious enabling the majority of the wedding party to congrgate in the morning as we left wiht numerous suitcases etc the breakfast room did feel cramped once it started to fill up. Breakfast offered a good selection and the sausages were especially good! 1) The bathroom suite needs updating Advocado green 1970s should not be found in any Hotel! The sink was not in the bathroom but in the room. 2)The tv was far too high almost toughing the ceiling, making it virtually impossible to actually watch the 14inch small screen from the bed. 3)The Bed was far to soft my husband and i kept rolling to the centre of the bed, I was afraid if he moved i may well be bounced out of the bed altogether. The Small 4ft doubles are not adequate for any average size couple to enjoy a comfortable night sleep. 4)We couldnt use thte pool as it was hired out for childrens Parties both days.

Staff excellent, comfortable public rooms and restaurant with good food. Small clean swimming pool. Room can be a bit cramped with 3 people, shower room is tiny but this appears to be norm with Jersey hotels.
