Our bedroom was very comfortable and quiet and the shower was powerful. Our room had a balcony and overlooked the garden which was very pleasant. The breakfast service was poor. The waiter who took our tea and coffee order had problems understanding that we wanted 2 teas and 2 coffees for a group of 4 people. Getting second cups of coffee for the coffee drinkers also took time! I asked for scrambled eggs not fried with my cooked breakfast - but got fried! |

The room was large, the bed king size and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very polite and looked to be enjoying working for the company. |

It was a bit noisy at rear of the hotel when staff finished their evening shift (10.30 onwards) and early morning as a skip was removed. (Stayed in room 306). This is for information and not to be seen as a complaint, as I recognise the need for staff to relax and unwind after a busy shift. |

Very attentive staff; great pool; good breakfasts; very clean and well mainbtained; nice to have balcony to room - but would have liked the garden view rather than carpark view. |

The hotel was in a beautiful location and had a nice swimming pool. The location was not good for bus transportation. We wished we had stayed closer to the one main bus terminal. We felt sort of trapped. The website maps misled us as to the location - namely, we did not see that we would be at the top of big hill! |

The staff were very friendly and helpful; the pool was excellent. The lounge areas and bar were attractive, Our bedroom looked a little 'tired'; wallpaper dated, lighting very basic. |

We liked the fact that it was a B&B, not full board. This enabled us to go out every night and enjoy some of the other restaurants that Guernsey has to offer. |

Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the ladies on reception who took the trouble, on finding that our flight was late afternoon and that we were going to spend the time in the town, to arrange for our luggage to be taken to a sister hotel to save us having to walk back to Les Rocquettes. Only that we weren't able to stay longer. |

The bar was great and the bar meals excellent. The room was comfortable if a bit noisy from the deliveries at 6am. Great standard of cleanliness. Health spa was very good.Buffet breakfast couldn't be bettered.Staff extremely efficient and also friendly. The fixtures and fittings were very tired and worn. The place looked like it was locked in a 1980s time warp. The outside garden spaces were very sad and neglected. |

The staff were VERY good. Helpful, polite, unobtrusive, courteous. The food from the bar was absolutely excellent. Unfortunately the food in the resaturant was not quite of the same standard but when we mentioned this, the staff went out of their way to put things right. The chef even came out to apologise personally the bed linen was a little worn, the balcony door didn't work properly and the bathroom fittings looked a little old but these were very minor points |

This fine, friendly and efficient hotel is your island address on the doorstep of town, walking distance from the picturesque harbour capital of St Peter Port. |
