Toilet did not flush. Reported it one morning - it got fixed but then by next morning, broken again. Also, room was very hot and nothing we did short of opening windows helped.

The hotel is lovely and is everything you could want. Location, for me, was excellent and my room was perfect for what I needed. The staff are very polite and friendly, there is really nothing particularly to dislike although the cooked breakfast could have been better. I will definitely be staying here again.

The overall historical significance of the Channel Islands...
The overall historical significance of the Channel Islands through the last millennium is fascinating -- the back and forth with France and England. Then, there is the significance of the German Occupation during WW2 with the artifacts that were left that are incredible. The island scenery, with the old, old houses and buildings, as well as the beautiful coastline, make this a very interesting, yet relaxing place to stay. The bus system is very easy to use and cheap with a 7 day pass. If you are looking for an interesting vacation, this is a good place to visit.

St Saviour is a fairly quiet inland part of Guernsey. We wanted a quiet country hotel and this is exactly what we got.
A hire car is necessary easily to visit the numerous attractions on this lovely island.
A particular highlight was the west-facing Cobo where we spent quite a bit of time enjoying the view.
St Peter Port is showing some, perhaps inevitable, signs of recession but is still a most enjoyable visit. We appreciated the ease of car parking for a short time close to the centre.

Loved the landscapes, the beaches, the friendliness of the bus drivers, the walks, the extraordinary accessibility of monuments (walk into a neolithic grave; into St Appolline's chapel); the hedge veg!
Found the bus timetable a little difficult to navigate.

Quite remote but beautiful in its own way.
Quite remote but beautiful in its own way. Well served by a Morrison shop and combined garage, No swimming beach but a wonderful vista that changed dramatically with the tides. A hotel close by for an occasional drink or meal. Good bus service and any journey one cost a pound!

A lovely parish with good facilities.
A lovely parish with good facilities. There is a pretty village nearby with a post office/gift shop, and a Morrison’s supermarket. A lovely bus or car ride will take you to the stunning West coast beaches. The parish church is also worth a visit, as is Auberge du Val hotel/restaurant.

What an absolute gem the Farmhouse Hotel is ! Booked for 3 nights for our first visit to Guernsey and our stay exceeded all our expectations. Customer service was outstanding and food was superb. We had a really lovely room with the most amazingly comfortable bed. The hotel is beautifully maintained both inside and outside with the most beautiful garden and it’s perfectly located in the centre of the island to visit all the great places that Guernsey has to offer. What more could anyone ask for ?!
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were over for a family funeral and had the wake there. It was perfect for our small gathering. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - the prepared the buffet, they booked out taxi from the airport and they were willing to help in any way. It made the day so much easier to deal with, knowing that we had the support of the hotel staff. The location of the hotel is a perfectly beautiful location.
This hotel is a hidden gem, so much better than a ☆☆! The staff were welcoming & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great. My husband & I stayed for 3 nights in a Seaview room which was perfect. Food in the resturant was delicious & the breakfast menu was fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing break.
We liked everything about this hotel. The rooms are big, bright and comfortable and the view to the sea is amazing.
The food was always of five star quality from the taste to the presentation.
We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Unfortunately we were unwell during our stay but we were looked after superbly by the hotel staff who supplied room service and made sure we were comfortable. The food was lovely.
A bright and airy hotel with a strong maritime influence to compliment the superb sea and bay views from the hotel, with an extremely friendly and welcoming staff
