Clean & comfortable little lodge, perfect for our first family break with 4month old! Decking with picnic table & hot tub fab. Lots of activities for when little one is older, we hope to return!
Some aircraft noise to be expected as v near airport, not too intrusive though and stops overnight.
My lodge was spaceous comfortable and clean with a pleasant outlook.
The sound of the jet engines from the local airport woke us up at 6.00 am every morning.....ending our nights' sleep. Our lodge was one of the closest to the perimeter fence of the airport,at less than 50 yds !
Kitchen, hot tub, space between properties
Bed very soft, not my personal preference
Great location and facilities. We didn't hire a car but there was a bus stop close by with regular buses to st helier and st brelades etc. Happened to accidentally coincide with the air show so being located so close to the airport was a massive plus! Also handy having a bar\restaurant on site which had a good range of food that you could takeaway (handy in the evenings with overtired children!).
Very close to airport and get woken at 6am by mail plane (not a major issue for us though) and you can smell the aeroplane fuel.
Location Style of lodge Easy parking Hot tub! Resort was well maintained and very clean and tidy
Pillows - bit lumpy and flat Thin duvet
This place was amazing. Very close to airport, 5 mins from st ouens beach and 10 from st brelade. Well equipped to keep kids entertained at all times and impeccably clean. Already looking to go back
Only slight negative comment would be indoor swimming times but it actually didn't hinder our holiday since the outdoor pool was still open and surprisingly not too cold
As a family with a 12week old baby and a 5 year old we wanted a relaxing holiday that also the children would enjoy. This resort was fab a can't praise it enough. Cabin was very very clean. Lovely size with everything and more that you would need. Staff where helpful and very nice. We will be back and we can't wait !!!
Everything the restaurant was lovely the pool was great. The apartment was modern with great facilities.
Could do with a site shop. We had a couple of people who could not walk to far so we thought a shuttle bus around camp and to the main road would of been good.
Specification of apartment. Cleanliness and comfort of apartment. Facilities on site were good.
No food shop within walking distance. No oven in apartment. Only one set of keys between us. No washing liquid for washing machine.
Accomodation. Use of the gym. Sports facilities.
Outdoor pool was a bit small for swimming
We loved the lodges, the Bar and Restaurant were excellent. All the Staff we meet we're all very helpful.
Could be a little more things to do for small children.
Lovely welcome hamper. Super, clean apartment. Had no noise problems from airport despite proximity. Nice outdoor pool well attended by lifeguards. We didn't use indoor pool or golf links. Lots to do on the island of Jersey that the whole family enjoyed. Would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here.
Creepy Valley Adventure Centre was very overpriced compared with similar facilities we used in France last year. Bar closed at 10 the two nights my husband ventured out and wasn't showing the golf on television - in a golfing resort!
Marine lake and outdoor pool
Information re free facilities / activities could have been better. Thought high ropes were included
The apartment was new, spacious and overlooked the golf course.
We came on holiday for some peace and quiet but due to the lack of insulation between the apartments this wasn't achieved.
Just returned from an amazing holiday staying at Les Ormes. The Villa was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the outside deck was fab with a view of the golf course and pool. The hot-tub and sauna were also a very welcome addition. We did the Coasteering with David and Matt - a little costly at £175 for the 5 of us but worth every penny too. I can't recommend this place enough - definitely the best self catering accommodation we've ever stayed in. We will back next year with the Grandparents too - thank you so much to all at Les Ormes
The only minor niggle was with the restaurant - the food itself was excellent, plentiful and very tasty, just quite expensive at over £100 when all that my 2 boys ate was chips with cheese.
Simple, modern, cleanliness of apartment. Extremely fit for purpose. Have stayed here twice and would stay again!
The price from booking.com The size of the bedrooms, to location, being very close to st brelade and ouen and beach
The kitchen, had only a hob, no oven of grill, we were only 3 people but in a 3 bed apartment, 6 adults would have struggled with kitchen and lounge space.
Modern accomodation, good location, nice outdoor pool, friendly and helpful staff
No oven and very limited space in the kitchen
Nothing. There is nothing to like!. We stay in Jersey 4/5 times a year and we have never had a bad experience until now. 1 Night and off to the Pomme Do'r for us!
Bugs/Pests. Heat, No A/C, No Fans, No Breeze! So Hot, It was the most uncomfortable we have ever been. Rude Staff, No Respect. Dusty Site, everything gets covered in Dust. Horrible! Boring place, a few families but they all looked as unhappy as us. So many great places to stay in Jersey for considerably less. Try Pomme Do'r or the Merton if with Kiddies. We will never be back, ever. Also, they are extremely insistent on taking payment before you arrive and we found out why. Any chance of getting a refund, NONE!!!. Also, the Director is rude and arrogant!
The staff, agreed via e-mail, to take in my luggage early on the day of arrival (11.00am). They then informed me that the lodge was ready and that I was able to move in (11.30). This enabled us to tour the island with no restrictions. On arrival at the lodge there is also a very extensive welcome hamper, milk, butter, bread, wine, biscuits etc. etc... The lodges are amazing in the set out and cleanliness, everything is user friendly, even for a mature couple! If you have any difficulty then there are helpful hints online or a direct telephone link to the reception. The hot tub is an extravegance that made us feel like some of the millionaires on the island. Buy plenty of bread for the friendly ducks that visit the lodges most mornings!
There are no facilities to purchase groceries, the closest shop is an approx. 15 minute walk. This is the only negative we could think of and it is really not worth mentioning.
Brand new accomodation, high standard of finish, lovely outdoor pool. Close to airport but not disturbed by noise. Lovely welcome food hamper. Staff all helpful and friendly.
No oven in new apartments, which are designed for families, combination microwave would be a good compromise.
The facilities, restaurant and hot tub
Noise from the airport
The lodges had excellent self catering facilities. The hot tub was great and whole place very clean
Very noisy from airport next door. No air conditioning.
Being so close to the airport
