The breakfast,that's it!!!!
Wallpaper hanging off the walls,in need of a good refurbishment,a bit scruffy.would not even go there again.very dissapointed.
the friendliness of staff and the good food. We had an excellent dinner on one night of our stay. Would definitely stay again
The shower no parking we arrived late for check in parked three streets away.
Clean. Friendly staff.
Shower was not very good was not able to work out how to use it.
when we got there we had the wrong bedroom so i went told them i had booked a sea view and they said they didnot no anything about that so give us a room what had a sea view what it was a lovely room i would stay there again food was nice staff was very nice too from sue and bill lees
seaview/ breakfast/staff at breakfast room nice and warm
noise from bar/carpark(blocked in all week)/no welcome or goodbye from owner entertainment ok if you like drag acts or bingo.
Friendly staff in the main
Size of room poor en suite cracked tiles in general en suite in very poor condition
Staff were friendly, breakfast very good, the bed linen and towels clean. They had Wifi
The bedrooms are far to small. We travelled with friends. We both had a double room but the size was more like a single room.
for the amount paid it seemed value for money and the breakfast was excellent
room was rather small and very noisy late at night from other guests
Such a nice place Friendly staff always helpful nothing was to much for us Lovely view Great breakfast
What we wanted was a relaxing break, we found the staff very friendly and helpful, entertainment was excellent,
No wi fi connection on the higher floors,
HAD A GREAT WEEK .FOOD GREAT VERY CLEAN .EVENING ENTERTAINMENT EXCELLENT. WILL COME AGAIN
DISAPPOINTED THAT WE ONLY HAD ONE WEEK
We have really enjoyed our stay the staff was very friendly and helpful the hotel very clean breakfast very nice overall an excellent stay!!!!!! I will highly recommend it!!
Food is very good. Rooms are very clean, we had a family and double which was adjusted to be next to each other. Staff are helpful. We had good advice to use day tickets for tram and bus, bought from nearby shop which saved traffic jams and parking in main centre. Blackpool lights start just outside the hotel. We would use this hotel again and have recommend to my friends.
2014 the wi fi works best nearer the ground floor.
For the price paid, the room was really big with a lovely sea view, tv, kettle and a really comfortable bed.
we was put on the top floor the lift didn/t go that high but most of all there was no hot water to the shower they said they had looked into it and it was ok let me tell you it never got warm it was freezing !!!!!!!!!
Room very shabby could not provide breakfast before 9am.
Very welcoming. Sorted problems out straight away. Very clean and tidy :-)
lovely hotel breakfast was excellent not to far away from everything tram across road enjoyed staying
rooms could do with a lick of paint but was good enough to sleep in
I loved that the location of the guest house was right on the tram line, we had clean linen and fresh towels, we also had a clean bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. But the best thing by far was the breakfast, friendly staff invited us to help ourselves to cereal and juice, there was loads to choose from, we then received filter coffee and a freshly cooked breakfast. Far better than most breakfasts I have had in 3 and 4 star hotels! All cooked fresh, not pre-cooked and left to barely keep warm and go rubbery. It was perfect, in a lovely warm and inviting dining room..properly set us up for the busy day ahead.
We arrived after midday, yet our room wasn't ready, but this was quickly rectified, they gave us another room immediately. Our small wardrobe was lopsided, the wallpaper peeling off in places and the bathroom mirror had " I can see you" still written on it from the previous guests.
The only thing I liked was the staff. Bar prices fair
Everything was very poor for a couple room far to small shower ceiling looked rotten aswell in corner of room looked damp not enough room to swing a cat. Cooked breakfast was to small.
There was entertainment if you wanted it the breakfast was excellent and the rate very competitive
Further away from centre than I realised
Was a very cosy place and everyone was helpful and friendly. Abit out of the way but a lovely walk. Would go back
Great welcome, staff were brilliant, breakfast was cooked as requested and was excellent. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.
My mother found the lift a bit difficult as it only holds one and she has ability problems.
The location - its where we wanted to be.
We booked a twin room from what was shown on the internet which looked quite nice- we ended up with a family room that was awful & not enough room to swing a cat. The bathroom window had 2 cracks in it. The toilet handle didn't come back up after flushing. The shower was cold 2 mornings out of 3.The room wasn't cleaned at all during the 3 night stay we had - although the cleaner did knock on the door at 4.40pm to clean it on the 1st day, but because of the time, we told her to leave it till the day after, the chairs in the rooms were rickety. There was no bedside tables or lamps, We had to ask for coffee 3 times before we got any at breakfast 1 morning. The owners didn't even speak when they were in the bar. Rather than having a full breakfast my partner asked if he could just have bacon, egg & sausage - he only got 1 of each. Certainly would not reccommend this hotel
