Score from 183 reviews Very good
the location was very good.
I wrote in the dust in bedroom. They forgot my breakfast and when it was brought it wasn't the right one. The tea and toast was provided for only 1 person and we weren't offered any more.
Very friendly staff.
No complaints all good.
Friendly welcome Location very good
Squeaky floor boards all over the place No friendly atmosphere in dining room at breakfast
the breakfast was good the host very amiable, the shower cubicle.
the room and bathroom wasn't cleaned all week nor the towels changed. the parking was a game of chance and a very tight fit for larger cars the area only houses 5 small cars and there is no available street parking due to residential homes.
When we got there as I am in a wheel chair the lady who,s place it is. Rang another guest and asked them to change rooms so I was on the ground floor.
There was no complaint.
Meagre breakfast. Non communicative staff. No one said good morning when we went for breakfast or at all during the time we were eating. The person who cleared the table said nothing. Now a place I would chose to stay again.
The breakfast was great, the rooms were lovely and the location was good.
Good hospitality, very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and always asking if we needed anything else. This is the second time we have visited Lewinsdale and would be very happy to stay here again. Carol and Des thank you for the lovely 3 nights stay x
Carol and Des were very welcoming hosts, breakfast cooked to order, good selection of cereals. clean and comfortable bedroom, public areas quaint and full of character
bedroom could have done with an extra arm chair or a small sofa
Very friendly family run business .
But strict on timings. If you missed breakfast by a second you knew about it
Was able to get into our room on arrival at 12.00.
Very hot room and uncomfortable bed. Far too many nic nacs and uncoordinated mismatched things around for our liking. More suited to the older generation, reminded us of a retirement home.
Location was good, as your less than a minute from the seafront.
Things were a bit dated. However, they are going through a refurbishment.
old fashioned you have to decide exactly what breakfast you want the day before down to whether you prefer tea or coffee
Room was a good size
Breakfast was miserly and would recommend getting it in town not worth £5.
would have liked more toast and butter for breakfast. Nobody there to ask for it.
Breakfast was good. Young waitresses were good.
Bed was poor, pillows were worse. Bathroom needed updating.
location lovely place pretty .the lady was nice
the owner wasn't very friendly breakfast only 1 piece of toast felt like we were a nuisance , very small tv hurt your eyes to watch it ,shame as the room was nice .towels were never changed used the same ones for the 4 days .and you had to choose breakfast the day b4 .
no evening meals available no bar service
The food, staff very freidley ,location right by beach frount
Nothing much other than the location
Grotty shower with hardly any water coming out of it at all. Tired furnishings, springs in bed gone so squeaked all night. Breakfast pretty basic served by a 7 or 8 year old girl which was bizarre. Owner dropped cutlery down my husbands shorts with no apology or any comment. Expensive B&B for the quality. Wouldn't recommend to anyone - sorry
Location, a great character house
Having to pre order breakfast the night before, and one and a half mushrooms, really?! I only ordered four things for breakfast, and such a poor portion! So small, we were not asked if we would like any more toast or coffee, lack of attention from staff, owners
Staff were helpful , location was quiet but only 2 mins walk from front
