The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was lovely, the shower was particularly spacious and powerful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well equipped with WIFI, coffee maker, TV/digital. The information book was very well written clean and informative. Very well decorated, modern and fresh. Externally there was a lovely lawn, patio and plenty of safe parking. The bathroom wasn't ensuite, this made is a little difficult when wanting to nip to the bathroom at night! (however it was private, spacious with a fantastic shower). The bedroom doors had a tendency to bang if you were not careful when closing them, this had an effect on the other occupants in the house.

Situated in a very appealing and peaceful environment of meadows and nature, this family house is impecabbly kept by Liese Cairnes. The rooms are spacious and the facilities well provided. Highly recommended.

Good room, lovely house, excellent friendly relationship with owner, No hotel type facilities, we had not realised it was only a BandB. One has to drive to any other facility eg pub or town

The location across the river from the city proper, only suitable for guests with their own transport. We had no idea what the accommodation consisted of - description of the guests rooms should be included in the advertizing on your website. The owner and host was a real angel when my wife arrived suffering from food poisoning from the previous hotel we had stayed in. Our room (aged couple over 68) carrying heavy suitcases and with no transport, was discovered to be the attic on the third floor, where we could not stand up nor get up from a futon on the carpet. Fortunately we were offered a converted barn as an alternative, with catering and laundry facilities, large comfortable real bed, and emergency help through mobile communications. No wi-fi was available inside and the daily cost was higher than that booked. We used taxis to and from the facility, at extra cost.

Rooms of high standard although it was disappointing that water tea was not replaced on use. Bathroom high quality and bath robes supplied. Booking in time 5.00pm which was quite late for a dark cold winters evening. It was also dissapointing that infact the owner didnt turn up until 5.20 to book in. I appreciate that it was due to bad weather but I do feel that if you run a business of this kind any necessary arrangements should be made for problems. We stayed in the purple room and on the Friday evening the owners son whos room was above ours had a friend stay over. The noise was so bad from his room that at 12.15 we had to phone the owner to go and speak to him I do appreciate that these things happen and the owner was very upset about what happened but it would deter me from using the Hotel again

Friendly & Welcoming Staff, in particular the Landlady/Owner. The breakfasts were delicious, all produce bought locally. The house was set in lovely grounds, and we were given wonderful advice on places to visit and eat. If we were to visit The New Forrest again we would definitely stay at Lelyland Country House. Would prefer to visit in Spring or Summer next time. There was nothing we didn't like about Leyland Country House.

My daughter and I had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at Leyland Country House, which we had chosen completely at random for its location We had a wonderful warm welcome (tea on the terrace) and nothing was too much trouble - from a huge choice at breakfast to advice as to where we should visit. Our room and ensuite were very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

It is in a perfect setting for a quiet rural get away. The staff are friendly, attentive and keen to accommodate to one's needs. The room with en suite faclities was very comfortable. I would recommend this B & B to couples, families and single travellers alike. If you want a countryside setting there's nothing at all to dislike about Leyland Country House.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The family and staff were absolutely charming and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.Excellent breakfast. Will certainly be recommending to family and friends. Would recommend that visitors take a torch with them if going out in the evening on foot, as the walk back to Leyland Country House in the dark is somewhat dangerous as no street lights or pavements.

location is key, just outside the town so you can leave the car and walk into town 15mins, right on the edge of the new forest so walking into the forest is no problem. Very friendly, our room was lovely clean and comfortable, very enjoyable stay, would rate this place very highly.

We thorougly enjoyed our stay at LeylandCountry House. The house and rooms were very clean and stylish. The breakfast was extremely good and nothing was too much trouble. Our hoste was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We would certainly recommend this luxury B&B, situated on the edge of the National Park and within walking distance of Lymington.

A very nice place to stay everything was really clean and the house keeper could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was very good everything you could have asked for. I wish I had booked a room on a lower floor you needed to be a bit fitter than us for the 2nd floor

Beautiful house and wonderful staff. Beautiful house and wonderful staff, but felt like staying at someone's private residence so we felt a little uncomfortable. Very quiet and can't check in til after 5pm and check out before 10am. Therefore very expensive for a few hours stay.
