The shower/WC area of our double room was very compact and really needed a shelf, as there was nowhere to put a single thing.
Slight smell of cigarette smoke about the whole place, which I think must have been drifting in from smokers immediately outside. Even though I am an occasional smoker, it's not nice indoors anymore.
The owners, Tony and Paul, could quite literally not do enough for you. They found us a parking space, greeted us with tea and coffee, gave us ponchos for the local water rides, rocked up with an iron and ironing board, opened the bar whenever we arrived back thirsty and provided an excellent breakfast. We have never felt so welcomed or looked after - no wonder they have so many repeat guests - it felt like a family home.
