Vey friendly owners, very helpful and a great location nr the tower but not too far from the pleasure beach. Good linen and towels.
I've no issues with a shared bathroom, that is what was available and I was happy to book it. I didn't expect it to be shared with everyone using the bar. A bit grim, they need another toilet. Our friends twin beds were not full size.
The hosts tony and paul are amazing, made us feel right at home. Rooms lovely and clean and had a delicious full English in the morning, piping hot. Couldn't recommend it enough and it's slap bang in the middle of all Blackpool's main attractions. Will definitely go back! :)
every thing well looked after service super wonderful staff no complaints at all
We have not been to Blackpool before. When we arrived at the Lichfield hotel we were greeted by Paul and Tony as though we were old friends along with a lovely cup of tea and biscuits. During our stay we had much laughter and fun. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very well presented lovely and hot and everything you could want. Nothing was to much trouble, we had entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings which was top class along with mountains of complementary sandwiches for supper. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back thanks Paul, Tony, and the team for the wonderful holiday you made it very memorable time for us. T & J from Australia
Tony and Paul and staff were extremely hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. They seemed genuinely pleased to see us, provided two nights of excellent entertainment followed by supper. Provided a free on-street car park pass and even helped us pack the car in the rain on leaving. They made our stay a memorable one!
Friendly staff and very pleasureable stay. Would go back there when back in Blackpool.
The owners, Tony and Paul, could quite literally not do enough for you. They found us a parking space, greeted us with tea and coffee, gave us ponchos for the local water rides, rocked up with an iron and ironing board, opened the bar whenever we arrived back thirsty and provided an excellent breakfast. We have never felt so welcomed or looked after - no wonder they have so many repeat guests - it felt like a family home.
The shower/WC area of our double room was very compact and really needed a shelf, as there was nowhere to put a single thing. Slight smell of cigarette smoke about the whole place, which I think must have been drifting in from smokers immediately outside. Even though I am an occasional smoker, it's not nice indoors anymore.
Friendly, clean home from home
Toni and Paul are wonderful hosts! Everything was good! Room is cosy, breakfast was delicious. Location is excellent! Definitely I wold recommend this hotel for stay in Blackpool.
Paul and Tony's hospitality was excellent. Pleasure to stay there and would highly recommend.
Great humour and friendly banter. Did wake up call for breaky which was very tasty.
