Beware of this hotel!!Bedbugs everywhere!! I was attacked by dozens of bedbugs that were hidden under the bed and I got bites all over my body. I had to take pills for 2 weeks and I even thought of sueing the hotel which I just didn´t do because I live in another country outside uk and it would be difficult for me.They should close down this hotel!!

The hotel is in a perfect location. Everything is very convenient, the underground is 2 minutes away. After reading the reviews we were expecting a smaller room and a bit tacky but when we saw it we were surprised. It was very clean and the size was good too. The worst thing about the hotel is the continental breakfast, which is basically toasted bread, cereals and juice. There is also a coffee machine. However, we ate there everyday, there is not much selection but it's ok.

good location. The breakfast was really poor(only toast, jam and cornflaks with drink is serviced). The breakfast is until 9 am and exactly at 9 am they took the toast and other things. The sraircase were really dirty because of renovation, and also wery loud during the day.

Location, wi-fi I did not like anything in the hotel except above. The room for four was smaller than it should be for two persons. I saw the tiniest bathroom ever in my life.

It was very central and close to the train station There was no lift, they were undergoing renovations (not mentioned on the website), the room was a little musty, the shower was small and the breakfast was limited in variety.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the location is within 5 minutes of victoria train station and tube. The twin room was a good size and the washroom is bigger than at other hotels on the street.

The (24 hour) reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Our twin room contained two double beds, a flat screen TV & a small but modern en suite with toilet & shower. The hotel was near to enough to both Victoria and Pimlico stations to be convenient but not so near that we were woken up by trains early in the morning.

Location - only 10 minutes walking distance from Victoria Station, only 15 minutes walking distance from Parliament Square. Private shower/bathroom facilities. I booked this hotel in a hurry and then read some of the reviews and was worried about my stay. But I was very happy with the double room I occupied for 3 nights by myself, which was on the first floor. I had a comfortable nights sleep with no disturbances from neighbours. The radiator was adequate, but the weather was particularly cold, however the piping hot shower facilities was an essential source of warmth. Continental breakfast was as expected and plenty of seats available when I went to eat between 8 and 8.15am. I was out all day and returned at around 5.30pm and didn't see or hear any workmen. I'd stay at the Lidos again.

Location is very good. After the first night we found in our room bed bugs. The hotel is full of bed bugs. After the second night our bodies were full of bed bug bites - cca. 40-50 - after that came the allergic reaction. On the third day we got an other room in which we found other bed bugs. We had to stay with the lights all over the night and hunt the bed bugs. After the third night we left the hotel and made a complain. We would not recommend Lidos Hotel to anybody. It is unacceptable to sleep with bed bugs in a 3 star hotel in the center of London City!!!

It was competitively priced and conveniently located 30 minutes for the conference hotel which was charging nearly 3 times more. Breakfast was fairly minimal. I was a little concerned about safety. There was a lot of refurbishment taking place and the fire exits seemed to be either obstructed or difficult to identify. I assumed I would have to squeeze out of my bedroom window and escape across the roof if there had been a serious fired in the middle of the night.

Location was convenient to many touristics area in London The carpet was old and the rooms are packed close to each other , that makes it almost impossible to not hear peoples talking or doors opening and closing. it was impossible for me to sleep without waking up every now an then at the sound of a door closing or opening.

We found nothing special or good benefit except location from this hotel. The reception man tell us our reserved room is on 2nd floor but actually he give us the one on 4th floor that's no lift to carry our heavy luggage. At first we found no blanket in the room and have to request from him. The price is not reasonable when compare to the service we obtained.

“The room was 'cosy', but really, when you are out all day you only need to come back to a bed, a cup of tea, and a hot shower and this room had all those things, the shower was powerful too not a dribble. Breakfast was just enough. Would stay here again” Susan, High Peak |
