Excellent Location, Value for Money & Breakfast With Own Room & Bathroom.
Nothing but a drinks machine in the lobby would be very useful.
Location in quiet square of busy Paddington, value for money in student accommodation, basic but good.
No wi-fi in the rooms which is odd for student accommodation, not all students can use the common room during term so maybe the University should upgrade the building.
- Location - Breakfast - Music practice room - WiFi
- Room decor and standard - Persistent wet floor in bathroom - No bath mat
good location, few minutes from Paddington tube station. Breakfast was a bonus, I didn't expect it. The most powerful shower I've even seen. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick check in and check out.
Room was pretty basic, with a quite depressing view of the back of the building. Not enough sockets, no TV no wireless internet/WiFi.
Though shabby the room was clean. There was even a towel and a few toiletries set out. The staff were polite and efficient. Good location, 2 mins walk Paddington St, and several nice restaurants and takeaways. I stayed for 3 nights and found it an effective base if all you want is a bed to sleep and a shower and toliet.
Two pillows would have made it a lot more comfortable. The wardrobe door needed oil, horrible noise. The whole place is noisy because sound travels and people are coming in and out. I can only imagine its cold in winter since its single glazed and drafty.
breakfast was excellent, and very nice staff
have internet in your own room would be an asset
The size and location of the room, overlooking Talbot Square, clean room, good breakfast and access to amenities such as computer room and laundry, though soap powder machine empty! Nothing much to complain about and overall great value and location onlondon
High step up to shower which was clearly a bath formerly, people eating food in the computer room and monopolising this facility at times
The food was very good, also the location was nice and easy to reach the center.
- Too many rules. - No front door key so I came at the hotel at 2am and I had to wait 20 min at the door until the guy at the front desk heard me and opened - Some of the staff wasn't too helpful or nice
Location. Clean. Functional. Breakfast.
Wiki only in lobby. No TV in room. No crockery for tea in room.
Thought it would be nice if a couple of cups had been provided so that you could use the kettle which was in the room to make a cup of tea.
Position Private bathroom
The room is really old and looks not so beautiful Towels are changed after many days The bed is cleaned after one week only
Nice location & Clean
No service for leave luggage Check-in time at 2 pm
Price, staff helpfulness, comfort & convenience. Location, free wi-fi.
No kettle in room.
The Halls were a good place to stay which although was basic was central to transport to all parts of London. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice. Quite at night too and lifts to all floors
Good sized room but needs a little redecoration. Only one pillow provided and one towel. No bath mat and no signage to warn of how hot towel rail was or floor being slippery when wet.
Great Breakfast like a 5 star hotel.. Great quite location.
The carpet in my room was very grungy. It could have been cleaned or replaced. The bathroom was very awkward.
a great value stay, with expansive breakfast, clean, functional rooms and friendly staff. A lovely, safe, secure location, convenient for town and parks.
a little institutional in décor etc. but you'd expect that from uni halls so I wasn't disappointed.
breakfast from 8-9
breakfast included, great location, 24 hour staff at desk, price
no air conditioning. only way to cool room was to open window - which opened just a crack. lots of street noise. mattress was thin and lumpy, with big sunken middle. thin pillow with no cushion
The location is very easy to access, private bathroom is a real plus. Breakfast hosted a good array of options.
The rooms are carpeted and ours was really stained, which makes it feel dirty. The wi-fi is only in the main lobby which is really inconvenient.
value for money location breakfast quiet
The location is awesome! Hyde park and Kensington gardens are in a couple minutes of walk, so as Paddington railway and tube station. And lots of small shops and cafes are really close to the LPH The breakfasts have a nice variety of meal options, including veg My room was quite tidy, with a very comfortable bed
Wi-Fi only at the reception No daily cleaning, though they take rubbish every day Thin walls and acoustics in general - you can hear lots of different noises from neighbour rooms (at daytime and in the evenings)
No bathroom mat Cleaning is once a week or more and ou don't get it until you ask Cleaniliness is Nil Boring breakfast after a while
Great location and fantastic breakfast menu.
Bed linen was rather old and duvet cover was fraying.
Good security! Loved the location!
