Very comfortable - a real home from home - and so much cosier and welcoming than a hotel. The owner met welcomed us warmly and, because there were no bookings the next night, allowed us to check out as late as we wanted. There was a fantastic selection of biscuits, muffins, fruit, wine, tea and coffee, milk, fruit juice and mineral water left in the house for us which was lovely when you first arrive. The house was well-equipped and immaculately clean. The location was ideal for visiting Lincoln and it was great to have parking outside the house. The bathroom was downstairs and the stairs to the two bedrooms were very steep, but you just had to be careful and it certainly didn't cause any issues for us and would not deter us from staying there again.

Good location for shopping in Lincoln with good road links, although Lillys road is very tight and in the snow I didn't park there so had to walk, but that doesn't matter. The welcome pack provided was excellent and something we have never had anywhere else in the uk. They need to spend some of the £198 we paid for two nights on some light bulbs!!! Very basic, but two of the lights in the house were not working. Also can't remember if the original info said that the bathroom was on the ground floor which made going to the loo at night a bit of a trek!! Also need to spend some of that £198 on cleaning the carpets, they were not very clean at all.

Lily road townhouse was a delight, perfectly placed near the castle and cathedral where the wedding celebration was being held. We were impressed by the decor and cosiness of the house which was well equipped. The welcome provisions provided were delicious and generous including wine, milk, juice, muffins and biscuits all of a delicious high quality. Thanks for looking after us so well. The only negative thing about Lilys road are the very shallow steep stairs which you need to take care with when coming down stairs and going up so as not to slip.

Amazing!!! Couldn't fault it at all, apart from the stairs being a little bit steap but that just gave us lots of laughs watching people fall down them. I felt like I was at home, loved it!! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic, can not fault it! Would recommend to anyone and would stay again! When there are 4 of you it also works out as great value due to its location and high standard. Made to feel very welcome and they go the extra mile which is very rare these days! Stairs are a little steep; holding on to both banisters is a must!

Comfy, well equiped and nicely furnished and decorated. The bottle of wine, cakes, biscuits, milk and orange juice was a nice personal touch. Bathroom was not decorated/furnished to the same standard as the rest of the house. Patterend border tiles has been painted which was flaking off.
