Commitment to excellent hospitality has earned The Limes 4 stars and a Silver Award for guest accommodation. This family-run, Victorian house offers an award-winning breakfast and is a pleasant riverside walk from York city centre.
The freshly cooked breakfast uses locally sourced produce and there is a comfortable, wood-panelled lounge bar featuring an open fire in winter. Guests can also relax on comfy sofas, watch the lounge’s TV or listen to music.
Each room at The Limes has an en suite shower room with heated towel rail, fluffy towels and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

By Car:
- Take the A64 (York bypass).
- Turn onto the A19 (York to Selby road) for York and we are a short distance away along on the right-hand side.
Please make sure that you take the A19 Selby and exit from the A64, not the A19 Thirsk.
Important information
Official checking in policy is to either arrive before 14:00 or after 18:00. However this is flexible and if you would like to arrive between 14:00 and 18:00 please contact the hotel to advise as such.
