The owners were very welcoming and there were nice touches, like we had mince pies in our room upon our return from a long day visiting Lincoln. The breakfast certainly filled you up for the day and there was good selection all cooked to order. Rooms were warm plenty of hot water, and beds were very comfortable. A very cosy stay, and lovely owenrs.

A very comfortable, family-run country house hotel, situated in a lovely and quiet part of the Lincolnshire countryside. The breakfasts are superb, with an excellent choice and everything freshly cooked. Kevin has a wealth of experience in the hotel business and, together with his wife, has owned and ran this hotel for many years. They make guests feel very welcome; and we had a most relaxed and enjoyable stay with them.

The gentleman who owned the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel is a bit dated in certain areas but was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was hot and cooked fresh and we were asked several times would we like some more - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were well above average size, spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. For the price paid I would recommend this hotel. No shower in en-suite only bath.

Helpfulness of proprietor explaining facilities on our arrival. Pleasant rural location with ample car parking. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast. Would certainly return. En-suite had bath but no shower. The fitting of a shower over bath would enhance the facilities still further.

Very friendly, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. I prefer a power shower and these weren't available at th ehotel, however, the owner did try to accomodate as best he could. As I was staying on my own an evening meal option would have been appreciated.

Very warm greeting and an excellently large double room. Lovely view of garden from dining room. Attentive owners. Good cooked breakfast. In a rather unknown and unspoiled part of the Lincoln Wolds. Easy Acess within 40 minutes of coast and Lincoln. We found nothing to complain about!

Unhelpful staff, breakfast at a very early hour on a sunday, check out is enforced for 10.30 after which everything is locked up. Hotel is far from any amenities, many rooms do not have a shower and the bathrooms are very small.

the friendly way the manager greeted us, took our bags up to our room, showed us all the relevant things in the room e.g heating controls bathroom alarm clock etc, booked a reservation for us in a lovely little bistro in town for our evening meal, had a very nice cooked breakfast on the sunday morning in a relaxed dining room overlooking a pleasant garden, lastly gave us good advice about what time to leave for an afternoon's racing at market rasen so we could avoud the traffic, would recommend this hotel the only thing we didn't like was there was no shower.
