Friendly and very helpful staff, beutiful location
Wifi, you have to keep entering login details, had difficulty connecting on a number of occasions
Room was comfortable with large bed, TV, tea and coffee facilities. Excellent buffet breakfast
Service can be a little slow evening times in the restaurant
water pressure in the shower
Quiet location Good nights sleep
£15 each way Cab ride into Bath Centre. Main road into bath was closed.
Enjoyed the countryside views, definitely out in the country, the people in town and the employees were cheerful and polite. Even for the bad I'd stay there again.
It's very old, the floor is uneven in places, and in one spot falling in. It is out in the countryside, quite some distance from town and hilly, not good for walking to and from, but they will call you a taxi and the drivers are nice. Water pressure when flushing was lousy. The front desk is closed until 7am so if you have an earlier checkout ask the night before.
all was to a good standard
I have clicked on all hte good tabs but they havent turned blue
Look of the Hotel and the lovely Lounge and Bar area.
Car Park can get full.

Great views from room, great breakfast, good tea making and room facilities. Overall decor of hotel
loose drain cover in lower car park - accident waiting to happen
Views, history and staff.
Too much drunken noise in the night.

The size of room great views in room 15 and the value breakfast. Hotel met my room requests
Would have been useful to have two keys to room or have been offered
fantastic breakfast, very nice lady to greet you in the morning, lovely location within easy reach of Bath.
not bad but when eating in the bar could do with higher tables, we ended up either bending over to eat or having the plates on our laps, food was lovely though :)
The room we had ,had a fantastic view of the valley. Probably the best view from a room in the Hotel? The breakfast was great and more than sufficient for any taste. Would definitely book again for a visit to Bath and area.
Beautiful hotel, excellent facilities, comfy beds and helpful staff.
Comfortable,staff very accommodating views wonderful
The countryside setting. Room & bed
Interconnecting door meant no soundproofing for snorer next door - dreadful! Receptionists aloofness and lack of interest. Waitress rushing to clear breakfast things the second you put a fork down! View of rubbish from window
Location and overall faclities
Peace and quite
The bed was comfortable, and the room had a lovely view of the valley. On the 3rd floor, the room was quiet.. The shower worked well There was ample tea/coffee in the room.
As a wedding venue, the hotel was very busy/noisy in the evening, on the ground floor. It was difficult to find a space in the car park because of all the wedding guests. The wifi was very slow
Lovely decor, clean Nd tidy, great shower in the room
It was a little cold during the day, mainly because the smackers kept going out through to the fire door and leaving it open, making everywhere very draughty
Beautiful scenery, lovely building.
Room furnishings very dated, wifi didn't work, dinner menu very limited
