On the banks of the Avon River, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views of the countryside surrounding Bath. It is on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907.

The hotel was run fantastic, will for sure stay there again
Wi-fi wasn't working all weekend
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent.
There was a wedding at the hotel on the day we were staying. This resulted in the car park being full and also lod music being played until late at night. Although this wouldn't have stopped us coming to the hotel we would have appreciated being told so that we could have chosen to make alternative arrangements if required.
Beautiful location, lovely historical building
No wifi (problem with ISP) and noisy wedding party music
Hotel and grounds were lovely .
It had character and style. Highly individual and is set in the most beautiful landscape. We had a time we will always remember. The atmosphere was relaxed and yet all service was faultless.
The clean room with comfy bed and good quality facilities. The well presented bar and restaurant with outside patio looking over rolling countryside. The adequate parking. The lovely old rambling but well maintained hotel. The happy & helpful staff and the food was good, too. We liked it all and will stay again.
Cannot think of a thing. As long as you have a car to enjoy the madness of Bath City - if you want to.. but we could have spent the days in the grounds just reading and sampling the food & wine.
Room size, bar, parking, food.
Very spacious. Lovely views ouside. Pretty grounds.very friendly and helpful staff. Very impressed with the hotel.
Nothing I didnt like.wish I could of stayed longer.
Set in a lovely location
Needs updating very tired looking - better signs for hotel from other directions & no wifi
Beautiful grounds and views Room comfortable and clean but basic
Ambiance was nil Function on in evening which made it impossible to park
Very quiet location, room on third floor, so away from bar and restaurant noise. Very comfortable bed.
Lift (elevator) only goes to 2nd level - many stairs to climb to 3rd level.
the view and the location
dirty floor, stale smell in bathroom, well worn crockery, staff more interested in wedding functions taking place at same time.
The building is amazing, you really get that lady of the manor feel and if the weather is good, as it was for our stay, you can sit outside with your drink and take in the breath-taking views across the unspoilt country side. Perched on top of a hill in a tiny hamlet there is nothing to disturb the piece and quite for miles around. The rooms are well equipped, very comfortable beds with easy to connect efficient wifi. Finding your room can be tricky as the building has lots of winding corridors set on uneven levels, some of the floors are askew also, but this only adds to the character of the building.
TV could be bigger - but this is a standard size for most hotels - im knit picking as im struggling to think of something to improve
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Me and my partner had a terrible nights sleep. Evening meal was very poor. Would recommend finding another location to eat.
The man on the desk in the evening was very helpful about asking the dj to turn the bass down , which did make a difference and he sent up a night cap which was appreciated. The views were lovely.
The noise from wedding disco, we were on the top floor but could still feel the vibrations in our room.
proximity to Bath
many short flights of stairs in the hallways - not good for elderly, unsteady people
Location and near to Bath, free wifi
Dirty room, dust everywhere, lumpy bed, generally tired and grubby and neglected.
Quiet comfortable location and good nights sleep.
Beautiful location with easy access to Bath. Very pleasant, attentive staff. We ordered sandwiches one evening and they were fresh and very attractively presented.
The shower in our room was poor and we were disappointed that the fruit available at breakfast was tinned. The internet service was poor.
The staff were lovely, and very kindly upgraded our room so that we would be on the same floor as my parents.
Views were lovely through window.
The shower drainage didn't work so had to have a quick shower to stop overflowing! The tv didnt work on arrival. The hotel had a wedding on and located us in a room overlooking the courtyard. At 2am the noise levels were horredous! You would have thought the hotel would put us in a room away from the wedding party! The bed was the moat uncomfirtable bed i have ever slept in. We would not recommend or stay here again
great view. its about 20 min drive from Bath
very old room. lots of stairs
The setting Great breakfast
Dirty valance around bed - wallpaper hanging off with waters stains
We were given the best room in the house with beautiful views. Our son who has travelled with us at short notice without booking was speedily accommodated. For old world charm and an enjoyable stay, this is terrific accommodation. I even got a candle on my breakfast croissant for my birthday.
My other travellers didn't like the breakfast which is charged as an extra. Non specific comment.
