With stunning views of the valley and 3 acres of private grounds, this traditional Georgian country house has a delightful village setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Originally founded during the reign of King James I, the Limpley Stoke Hotel today offers individually designed en suite rooms, well equipped with modern comforts and facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and many of the rooms have magnificent views over the valley.
The hotel offer a number of dining options, including anything from a simple bar snack to the full à la carte menu available in the recently refurbished restaurant. The award-winning chefs offer mouth-watering dishes, freshly prepared using locally sourced produce wherever possible. Most dietary requirements can be accommodated.
The hotel also has its own 16th-century coaching inn. Situated at the bottom of the drive, the inn has a real country pub feel.

With easy access to the M4 motorway, the Limpley Stoke Hotel has a great location for exploring all that the South West has to offer. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bath’s city centre, the hotel is still just a short car journey from the area’s many famous landmarks. These include the Roman Baths, the Thermea Bath Spa, Bath Abbey and the Jane Austen museum. Longleat, Castle Combe race circuit and Bath Racecourse are also within easy reach, as are Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury and Stonehenge.

- Take the A46 to Bath.
- On the outskirts of Bath, pick up the A36 to Warminster.
