A 10-minute walk from Lincoln’s magnificent cathedral, and less than 50 metres from the castle, this 3-bedroom townhouse is situated on the edge of Bailgate. It has an Italian-themed garden, and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Lincoln Self Catering has a large TV in the sitting room, and a Hi-Fi with an iPod dock. All 3 bedrooms have a TV as well, and there is a fully fitted bathroom with a shower. The fully equipped kitchen comes with utensils, a dishwasher and a microwave, as well as a washing machine. If required, there is a drier in the utility room. The University of Lincoln is a 5-minute drive from the building. The famous Steep Hill, a cobbled hill in the city centre, is a 10-minute walk away, and the picturesque Hartsholme Country Park is 3 miles away. It was so much more relaxed than staying in a hotel, a real home from home. We were only there for a weekend but it would be really great for a longer stay. The location was superb, right by the castle and a very short walk to the cathedral. The owners were on hand if needed and couldnt have been nicer. Great value for money and would be perfect for a group of friends or a family. Would definitely book again! Just be aware that the design of the houses (traditional) means that the stairs are quite steep so if you are unsteady on you feet you may find that a bit of a problem, for most people not an issue though so don't be put off by that - a great place to stay.

Lovely couple who owned the house we rented! Perfect for a getaway with the girls - university reunion! Comfortable, clean and plenty of facilities to use! Would recommend to groups of friends. Thank you

Renting the house turned out to be a great option. It at least lives up to the website pictures - maybe a bit better. Location is great. Owners very friendly. Location is round the corner from some of the most expensive hotels in the city.

Owners very welcoming and house well equipped and homely. Lovely outside courtyard garden well kept. Nice kitchen and well equipped and nice modern bathroom. Fantastic supply of soft towels! Bed linen very nice and bedrooms nicely decorated, two with showers. TV great. Use of telephone great. Position of the house to the cathedral, castle and cobbled streets with bars and restaurants was perfect. 5 min walk. Convenience store at the end of the road. Stairs very steep which whist fine for us was bit of worry with elderly parents and bathroom being downstairs ! We personally like hard bed and the double bed very soft.

Well located house within easy walking distance of the city centre and sights. Also close to some excellent bars and restaurants. The house is very well maintained and we found the owners to be very pleasant and amenable. An excellent weekend break.
