The hotel was central, clean & warm. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly & helpful. I felt it was a little expensive, but we were there for the Christmas Market and so obviously, the price was higher for this. |

The improvements to the front carpark that have been done since I last stayed 2 years ago, which take advantage of the magnificent view of the Cathedral opposite. The room renovations - nice decor, plenty of space and good bathroom. No body lotion with the toiletries, fortunately I had a small bottle of someone elses in my bag.The back entry from the carpark - the door is heavy to open when you have a suitcase and things to carry - would be good if it was automatic. |

Location, Parking, Friendly Service from Reception & Main Restaurant Staff, Nice room entering on to garden, Breakfasts excellent + Cathedral view Green Room meal on the saturday was only average. Waiter not as friendly as the other staff. Small dining area, limited menu - too Nouveau Cuisine for our personal taste. We were very pleased to have a free bottle of wine voucher from reception but had to ask for it to be brought to our table whilst waiting to be seated. |

Location. Nice breakfast. Very poor staff organisation and service. Lack of room privacy and renovation work to hallways impeding on the stay. |

They had worked hard and done well to transform a building that looked as if it had originally been an ugly 60s office block. The interior design in the main areas was good, strong colours and quality furnishings. The room had a lovely queen size bed. The extraction device in the bathroom could have been better, as my husband complained that it smelt musty in there, but other than that the room was great and led out onto a lovely terrace and garden. The breakfast was good, although the service was rather haphazard - we went down late and I think they were keen to clear it away. Absolutely stunning views of Lincoln Cathedral and extremely well situated for the Cathedral, castle, shopping and restaurants. The staff could have been a bit friendlier and on the ball. The corridors to the rooms really needed repainting and were rather depressing colours. |

The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were friendly respectful and attentive. The location as perfect for the cathedral and shopping and it was very easy to locate in Lincoln. They allowed us to leave the car in the car park after we had checked out which was very considerate too. Lovely young people, (staff) on reception and at breakfast. Well unfiortunately we visited during refurbishment of the corridor and so it was a bit off putting but cant be helped. The room was as expected for the price. |

It was very comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was the best I have had in an hotel for some time! The checking in procedure was very long and detailed and made me feel like a criminal. I had to sign a form which listed all the fines I will get if I damaged various parts of my room. they said this was standard procedure but I have never had to do this before. |

It has a big plus due to its location - right beside the cathedral and castle and easy access to the old part of the city Main problem was the refurbishments being undertaken |

I thought the staff were unenthusiastic. My welcome was tepid and when I checked out - no one asked me whether I had enjoyed my stay. Having said that - Housekeeping should be applauded as they clean the rooms and public areas to a very high standard. The 'coolness' of the reception staff. |

Location and parking it seemed there was a very inexperienced waitress in the Long Room which is the hotels 'fine dining' room and thus the most expensive |

Good, comfortable hotel, ideally situated for the Cathedral and old part of the City (don't worry, they switch the bells off overnight!). Our room was well furnished, if fairly small. The bathroom was clean, bright and modern. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the service in the restaurant was very good, as was the food. We only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it to our friends. |

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Massimo, the waiter in the Green Room was very tolerant of our halting Italian! Pity about the view from the window at the back, but there you go... |
