The breakfast and cleanliness of the bedding. The proximity to the Minister was excellent. In view of the historic situation, we felt the facade of the hotel was out of keeping. |

We have stayed at the Lincoln several times now and the new bar area has improved the ambience although is still a little sterile. There is ample free parking, it is situated opposite the cathedral (although this can be a minus point when the clock starts chiming at 7am) and there was a good buffet selection of hot and cold fare at breakfast. Staff were friendly. The room now has a flat screen TV and internet access but the decoration is a little tired, the bathroom especially could do with updating considering the price tag, especially as we had an internet deal that meant we were paying slightly less. |

Very convenient for the Catherdral 7 Upper Town Shopping. It gives the appearence of being a little run down. Some tatty decoration and clearly the double glazing in the bedroom corridors need replacing due to failed seals. Two weddings on the Saturday Evening left a shortage of lounge accommodation and bar facilities. |

The hotel has a car park behind the building and a path from the car park leads to the back entrance. At the entrance there is a sign saying "Please ring for attention". There is neither a buzzer nor any cameras at this door. The hotel needs to pay attention to minor things like this which cause inconvenience to customers. It is also inconveniencing customers, but not providing an entrance fr from the back of the hotel. as customers have to lift all their luggage, their suits etc and walk on the footpath all around to enter from the front of the hotel. |

The hotel staff we excellent and always happy and friendly. Although there were at least two weddings at the hotel on the nights we stayed there you hardly noticed as the hotel lobby/reception area and bar areas were very spacious. Our room was very nice and comfortable, however it just happened to be on of the hottest weekends of the year and our room was very stuffy - the hotel staff were very helpful and they did provide us with a portable fatn. |

The breakfast was very good. Excellent range of choices. Very good cup of tea. The girls on reception had no local knowledge. On arrival we were asked to sign disclaimers in a reception that was poorly lit. 'It is a bit dark, the light blubs have gone - sorry!' |

Car parking policy is a pain, as you always have to go to reception to validate your car parking ticket. It would be more convenient for guests to just have a special card, to freely enter and exit car park. |
