The staff were friendly & efficient. Our room (no 3) consisted of two single & one double bed & although not spacious we weren't climbing over each other. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small as we knew from already reading previous reviews but lots of hot water & very clean.Breakfast was very good, quick service & good choice. The location was excellent just 5 mins walk from Marble Arch. Taxi fare from Paddington was £7.00. Would def stay there again.

Pretty fittings and a good location near Marble Arch. Staff were friendly. No internet access (wireless but no internet!?). Either they, or booking.com, lost our booking and were only able to accommodate us due to a late cancellation. The room was extremely small - you could only access the bed by one side, the bathroom was a small sealed unit as if from a caravan. The walls were so thin we could hear the neighbours talking, in normal voices, through it. There was no window, just a skylight. It was very poor value especially as breakfast was not included in the price. Although they will hold bags after your stay these are simply left in the reception hallway and we never dealt twice with the same staff member so there was very little security in leaving it with them.

The location of the hotel (near Marble Arch) is excellent. I discovered a few days into my stay that that just around the corner (not on Oxford St itself, are some cafes and restaurants plus the lovely Marylebone area that has lovely and unique shops. The location to the tube transportation system is convenient but really, depending on where you want to go and if you are up to it, you can walk. I appreciated the access to free internet and as I was on vacation, they do provide one computer terminal to enable you to send a quick message home. The size of the room was very small given the price paid but I suppose with London standards this is probably normal. Because of the narrowness in the room it is difficult to open your suitcase fully on the floor. I didn't appreciate the surprise 3% charge for using a credit card given the price paid for the hotel. Given the prices paid for accomodations, this is not something that visitors appreciate.

Clean and tidy hotel with friendly staff. Food menu looked good value although we never had a chance to eat there. The bathroom was tiny! I think it was pulled straight out of a caravan - fibreglass shell containing a shower, toilet and sink. I would be possible use the loo, sink and take a shower all at the same time if need be.

Good location. Staff were pleasant. Biggest problem was the size of shower/wc cubicle which was so small/compact that the floor towel for the shower went under the wc. If we had known that the 'en-suite' was what appeared to be an installed pre-fabricated unit instead of a normal 'room' even though small, we would have gone somewhere else. Also, the room 'key' was supposed to open both the room and the front door but it did not open the front door. When we pointed this out we were told that it was OK as the reception (downstairs) was open 24 hours and we could ring - and this proved to be the case.

Was in an ideal location for us. Also very clean and quiet, nice that it wasn't right on a busy road. Bed was comfy and liked the tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a small and shower tray wasn't very deep so the floor got rather wet.

A friendly place, comfortable and at a very good location. Especially in London where hotel rooms are always very cramped and overpriced, this hotel room was also small (esp. Bathroom) but in comparison the value for money is higher than for other hotels. So we (family of 4) were pleased with the choice which we based on reviews on internet (combined with a preference for a hotel in that particular area).

Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the location was brilliant, all the main attractions of London were in walking distance Only downside would be the size of the bathroom, but if you're only staying a couple of nights it's just fine

It's very compact and gives you exactly what you need. Everything is small, but this is ok for the price and the quality around. 3 course meal till 1am definitly is awesome.

Good location and reasonably priced. Small room, small bathroom and bed next to window which overlooked busy main street so traffic noise kept us awake most of the night.

The room was windowess, tiny, the free wifi dd not work, the breakfast was poor quality, there were no common areas to escape from said coffin like room. The breakfast room is only common area, and it is in the basement. The bathroom was a prefab number too small to dress in. If you stood up from the loo, you were in the shower . If you took a shower, the entire bathroom took one with you and was sopping wet the rest of the day. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors. No reading lamp by the beds, no light above the sink which was in the room, not the bath. Most unpleasant.
