The staff were extremely friendly. Customer service was great.

The location was ideal for access to central London and getting to the sites of the city. The tube station was only a 5 minute walk away. The room was clean, tidy and well presented.

Unfortunately, location of room within the hotel was disappointing as it was downstairs in the basement and hence no view out the window. It was located right beside reception and adjacent to the breakfast room. We did opt for the cheaper room, so would pay the extra next time for an upstairs room.

We only needed to stay for one night so the price was excellent for a London hotel. Location was good, could walk to Oxford Street and a tube station. Staff were friendly and helpful.Room was small but very clean, Mars bars in the fridge that we tried to pay for on our departure only to be told they were free!

Previous reviewers have commented on the tiny bathroom, yes it was tiny but better than not having an ensuite like some of the similar priced hotels we also looked at! So I would say there was nothing I disliked about this hotel.

Great location, very polite staff. We stayed with our 1 year old daughter and had a great time. I strongly recommend this hotel and definitely would stay there again when I go to London!

the staff here we couldn't fault. Unfortunately I had to go to hospital whilst staying here & nothing was too much trouble for them to assist in organising everything that needed doing for me. Polite friendly & very obliging recommend them to anyone.

The ability to have a larger nos in a room, we had one of four and one of five. The early hour for breakfast.

The cost of breakfast was steep if in the peak time for what it was.

I like the place ! the staircase, the ganesh and the l ovely staff, smily and friendly

Liked the location

Did not like the size of the room too small for price paid. Shower terrible did not shower waited until I got home No cooked breakfast even though advertised,continental breakfast therefore very expensive not worth the money.

Th staffs are nice and helpful. They helped with with my luggages. Fix the heater in my room. They are very responsive.

Breakfast is not included in the room cost. And 4.5 pound only for eat bread + orange juice is too expensive. They always calling expensive cab whenever i need one.

Great central location, close to tube stop and amenities nearby. My room had a small fridge making it convenient for housing a few drinks and snacks. Bed was comfortable and the room clean.

Was alarmed at finding a mouse trap in the room. This caused some emotional discomfort. The rooms are small but that is what London is like for you.

The staff was very friendly especially at the reception,they even asked if we needed help to take our luggages from our room at our checkout,room was clean and beds were super comfortable.Breakfast was awesome,very good price for the breakfast ,the location was perfect only 2 minutes from marble march.

The only reason we are a little bit negative is because the last day before our checkout,we were having breakfast and a middle aged woman served us and was not so friendly,can`t understand the reason .but will stay in this hotel again for sure.

I have stayed at Lincoln House on numerous occasions, it is a genuinely attractive guest house with some very charming features. Traditional with a nautical theme, an array of memorabilia and old twisty stairs and edwardian style character.

The Food! Absolutely awful. They offer a 3 course evening meal for circa £7 or £8.90 with a beer. Forget it! I ordered the Spring Rolls as a starter on the basis that I intended to have one of their asian infused curry option as a main. The srping rolls were the size of a cigarette lighter, were deep fried to death and looked like budget supermarket food. They had no asian infused curry options as a starter, in fact they had no Argentinian Steak which was highly recommended either. The only options they had were Spagetti or Fish and Chips. I chose the fish and chips. Disastrous. The chips were deep fried to the point whereby there was no evidence of potato, just fat. The fish was also deep fried to extinction. Awful. Plenty of great restaurants close by so use those instead. In fact use McBurger Queen instead.

The location is excellent. A 5- minute walk and you're in Oxford street. Clean and cozy although quite tight. Excellent value for money

Price is excellent. Public areas are individually and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms and showeroom are small but nice. I stayed at the back (as requested) and it was very quiet.

What I appreciated most was the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the reception staff.

I did't like the area of my room (too much small) and the fail of some details (no room shoes, for example). Also my bedroom was in the third floor and I felt myself a bit tired.

The hotel is very clean. The location is perfect. We will definetely come back.

I was given a fourth floor room and there was no lift
