Wonderful outdoor pool and HOT jacuzzi !!! Best quality breakfast we have had in ages with an excellent choice. Lovely helpful staff.
Friendly staff, well maintained property with good food.
The outside pool and jacuzzi, the connect 4 games area. The indoor pool and jacuzzi, the fabulous food and service. Wonderful gardens. Spacious superior room. Ample car parking spaces. The beautifully decorated dining room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would defininately go back again.
Our room 1 was too dark, needed the light on in day light hours due to the huge trees just outside the rooms window. The entertainment finished too early, but was very good for the time it was on. The indoor pool area could do with a lick of paint in some areas and maybe some where to put towels when in the pool.
The room, the food, the bar and restaurant service, the pool
Very professional staff helpful friendly and warming to you, makes your stay stress free and lovely
Good clean facilities with attentive staff who care about your stay
Friendly staff, good restaurant with decent food, Lounge evening entertainment and films, nice grounds with pool.
Ours was a late booking, so got tiny room overlooking fire escape and yard, noise from kitchen vents. No air con, and as fire escape outside, could not leave window open at night, so too hot. No lifts so harder for elderly.
Staff great, location great and good value. Breakfast was great and late check out very good.
Dirty apartment, thick dust on all light fittings, dirty microwave, lots of light bulbs out, badly frayed towels and carpet in living area seen better days, very lumpy from wear and tear.
Staff were attentive and helpful. Room was lovely. Food delicious. Great break at v. Reasonable price.
Staff very friendly. Great facilities. Few minutes walk to torquay or a few mins more to meadfoot beach. Food in restaurant really nice and breakfast organised well. Would definitely return.
Room on road side and no sea view.
The staff, the bedrooms, the power shower, location, the grounds, the swimming pool, the restaurant is a great room, as is the bar, breakfast was great including porridge. It was all good.
Arrived at hotel thought all was okay, upgraded prior to travel , to apartment number 2, which is one of two appartments the hotel own, situated next to main hotel, apartment was nice at first, Then
After a long journey down and then a night out with family in torquay, we were awoken around 6.50 am with the sound of plates cups saucers being manhandled around from what we now know to be the kitchen which is located directly behind the apartment, really did send me into over drive, then the apartment seems to have an underbuild to it which i can only assume is used as a staff or office area, doors slamming directly under us, then to cap that experience off the staff who really did not have a consideration for the paying guests to conduct shouting conversation with each other across the yard between the kitchen and this underbuild area, all this before 7.30am, we went out at 8.50 am for along day to return to the wonderful smell of all the kitchen cooking smells had entered our appartment by the window we had left open , silly me to think that i should leave a window open on a warm day, The smell which can i know very well is one of grease, i am a drainage engineer in this field and full well know the smell of grease wofting up the filthy looking ducting to the rear of my apartment, to then compound further agony all of our clothes left hanging in the bedroom stunk of grease and fat, absolutely disgusted by this we went over to reception greeted by a could care less attitude of the young lady behind the counter wearing a head scarf, who said she would inform the relevant person, we never heard from the relevant person prior to departure the next morning, after making a complaint went to the bar and purchased a £4.20 can i mean not even a real pint of guinness, 89p in any supermarket, i know they have to surcharge some items but for a can, come on, I would never stay here again, and thank you Lincombe Hall Hotel for ruining my 20th wedding anniversary
Good area, clean, roomy & good quality for the price
The road works heading in and out of Torquay
Although we were on the second floor that was the only minor issue about this hotel.. It was a beautiful setting, quality decor and furnishings, lovely attentive staff, excellent breakfast, good facilities with two pools and nothing was too much trouble.
Friendly staff always attentive and polite, also knowledgeable about local attractions and transport Swimming pools and spa \ hot tub both indoor and out warm and surrounding areas very clean
Lack of Real Ale only poor selection of Keg beers and lagers
Clean & spacious room, I didn't get to use the facilities as this was a whistle stop stop stay. Nice character. I would stay again.
Room a bit noisy due to backing on to a courtyard where items were pulled along, I assume from the kitchen. This was afternoon/early evening though so most people wouldn't be in their room & this ceased at night.
Swimming pool indoor and outdoor heated. Apartment facility for the family very good. Good English breakfast. Close to town.
Nothing at all.
The staff were excellent
Might not be the best for young couples, more for mature couples and families
We had a fabulous, relaxing time at this hotel as we usually do every time we go there. The best part is the hot tub/ heated indoor/ outdoor pool. But we also enjoyed the gardens, delicious breakfast and various facilities. Everything was smooth and easy – no need to give them your credit/debit card for payment as they will charge it a night before thus avoiding wasting a lot of time at check-in /check-out. Also, Torquay is the most beautiful town in Devon and there are plenty of activities to do in town. We recommended to everyone.

Welcome, friendliness and professionalism from all staff, great swimming pool and gardens. Lovely rooms, very quiet and good breakfast buffet. Great location, walking distance to seafront, but very quiet and relaxing.
