Clean & spacious room, I didn't get to use the facilities as this was a whistle stop stop stay. Nice character. I would stay again.
Room a bit noisy due to backing on to a courtyard where items were pulled along, I assume from the kitchen. This was afternoon/early evening though so most people wouldn't be in their room & this ceased at night.
Swimming pool indoor and outdoor heated. Apartment facility for the family very good. Good English breakfast. Close to town.
Nothing at all.
The staff were excellent
Might not be the best for young couples, more for mature couples and families
Wi fi poor
Hotel facility's were first class staff were very friendly location was great should be a five star we will defenetly be coming back
Friendly and thoughtful
Welcome, friendliness and professionalism from all staff, great swimming pool and gardens. Lovely rooms, very quiet and good breakfast buffet. Great location, walking distance to seafront, but very quiet and relaxing.
Having to leave
The room, the breakfast, the staff
Good facilities and well pitched entertainment
The squeaky floors - you could hear people moving around in the corridor when they were up early
A Hotel with traditional values of good service, excellent levels of cleanliness and an emphasis on comfort. Had a compact double, but both room and certainly bathroom were a good size
Wifi needed to be refreshed quite frequently
Everything about the Hotel is excellent, staff, facilities, breakfast, parking, proximity to town & clean comfortable rooms On the last night we had Dinner at the hotel which was an excellent 3 course Menu, would have no problem recommending this Hotel if you plan to stay in Torquay
Friendly staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
stylish bedroom; quiet; sea view from bedroom window; very friendly and attentive staff; good breakfast; pool and jacuzzi; beautiful garden; in walking distance to town.
nothing -- it was perfect.
Have to say everything about the hotel was really top notch. They wee very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and as a result my husband and I had a pleasent stay.
Staff courtesy and helpfulness. Good breakfasts Excellent restaurant food. General décor and surroundings Comfortable lounge bar Entertainment Nightly film option if required Ample car parking
Only 5 minutes walk to Torquay centre but seriously uphill on return journey ('Bus stop near to hotel though)
Seriously comfy beds! Had the best nights sleep in a long time. Staff were very attentive. Very nice breakfast with good selection. Quiet location, drastic contrast to Torquay town itself. Plenty of parking.
Quite a few stray hairs in the bathroom on arrival. Some parts of the bathroom and toilet needed a fresh paint as some patches had been painted but stood out a bit.
Very much enjoyed every aspect of our stay.Highly recommend
noisey radiator room 40
Enjoyed our stay. Nothing to not like about the hotel and staff. Very welcoming and helpful.
This hotel was brilliant – for a 3-star place it really offers excellent value. We loved the location, a short walk down the hill to town, bus stop right outside and plenty of free parking. The room was very clean and comfortable. Liked the outside pool and hot tub. The 3-course dinner was superb, and so cheap at £15. Live entertainment every night. A really nice, laid-back ambiance. The best thing was the staff – super friendly, very efficient and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
Room was a little hot, but to be fair this was Torquay in a heatwave.
Excellent staff, good breakfast, pool, location, peaceful setting and good for car parking. A good choice for the 50+ group who want piece and quiet.
No soap in bathroom on second or third day. We forgot to ask but surely maid should check this. Towels were not changed each day. Our room (24) was far too hot, even with both windows open (no AC). The hotel felt a little like an old people's home!
Staff very friendly and helpful.Beautiful location.
No room safe for valuables.
staff are acceptional, hotel clean.rooms well equiped and clean.great breakfast.good bar selection. good location. would book again.
The room was too hot and no lifts but a comfortable stay good was excellent
Breakfast good parking good rooms good size
Very slapdash service not great guidance from hotel manager, very noisy room if you unlucky enough to get room 6, vans deliver right outside, even in middle of night, rubbish bins emptied right outside room including bottle bank, staff have smoke breaks outside too, more noise....
