The Shopping and Sight seeing, Nothing about the Hotel Carpets in the room and in the hall ways could have done with a good clean, they had made an effot in the bathroom but things were just not finished, view from window was not good, other rooms were using this as a dustbin, this hotel was graded as 3 stars i'm not so sure, dont pay using debit card as they add 4%. |

It was quiet. No lift and the room was on the 5th floor. No service. You have ask for things. They will charge you £5 for each bag they keep for you after you check out. The room was overpriced for what it offered. |

Location was good, close to both Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube station. Room was clean. The room was very small, with an even smaller en-suite. We were charged 4% for using any card to pay for the room, when we asked if we could leave our bags there for the morning, a further £5 charge was asked for.... Continental breakfast consisted of toast and cereal |

It was Central We booked a double room, however when we were allocated a room it was two single beds and the receptionist just said you can have the room in the basement but it isnt very good. The breakfast was continental which is fine but just little things like no milk and staff not really interested in helping was frustrating. |

Excellent proximity to Paddington Station. Desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Basement room was terrible - walls dirty, smell of industrial chemical / bug spray, view of trash bags from the window, windows don't shut correctly, shower had no walls, bathroom floor drain didn't work - resulting in water backup into the entire bathroom area, paper-thin door meant hearing the activity & traffic (starting 6am) in the breakfast room. We moved to an upstairs room after the 1st night, which was much better but still "budget". I'm not sure how this hotel earns 3 stars. |

The hotel was clean, economical and very convenient to Paddington Underground, Hyde Park etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our basement room was quite basic with one small window looking out on a tiny, dismal yard. The breakfast room was also rather cramped. The ensuite was basically a shower room with toilet and small washbasin, both of which got soaked when one had a shower. |

It was close to Paddington Station and that's the only plus point. Room smelt damp; 'wet room' shower didn't drain and resulted in two inches of water on the floor; the continental breakfast was a lot less than expected. |

The beds were fine. 1. The window was very unthigt, so wind and cold air effected the temperature in the room. 2. The radiator did not work. 3. There were only thin sheets to keep you warm in bed. 4. The room was very small. There were two of us in a room for four. Can´t imagine how four people could have been in this room. 5. There was approx. 40 cm. of space for hanging up clothes. 6. There was very limited space for storing bags. 7. The bathroom was very small. 8. No elevator in the hotel and our room on the third floor. 9. The breakfast room was very small. The breakfast was really nothing (bred, jam, eggs, juice and corn flakes). Some cheese would have added an extra star. 10. The hotel charged 4% for payments with a credit card. |

The location - only 2 minutes walk from Paddington station, with Marble Arch and Lancaster Gate tube stations all within minutes walking distance. The pictures shown of the hotel on the Internet are very misleading. The hotel states that it has just had a refurbishment, but that was not the case. Our room was in desperate need of a repaint, and the window needed to be replaced as it had a gaping hole even when it was closed which let the cold in. The bathroom had recently been refurbished, but if you wanted to have a shower between the hours of 630am-930am then you would have to have a cold shower as the hot water had run out. I complained to the staff and they didn't seem to care. The breakfast room did not have enough seating to cover the rooms that the hotel had, and we often found ourselves having to wait for a table to come free. Overall we found the hotel to be poor quality |

Good location in a nice area, handy for transport links, nice pubs nearby, clean room. Small unattractive room, curtain didn't block out the light from outside. Poor breakfast arrangements. Surcharge for paying by credit card. |
