Lovely setting, nice house, good service and friendly helpful staff No free WiFi in fact no WiFi - easy to put right and essential for the businessman whether on holiday or business. Someone to lug your luggage around Better equipped bigger rooms and greater choice of suites Clearly seperate wedding activities from the people residing at the hotel. It is hateful that rooms are reserved for wedding and normal guests are pushed to the periphery of the hotel. They have a conference/wedding suite they should use it.

Reception area friendly and welcoming, everything else was fine. The room was classed as an executive but in my opinion this did not meet the requirements, the furniture and carpet was looking tired and worn, the decor also needed freshening up

Helpful,professional and enthusiastic staff meant a completetely relaxing and enjoyable stay,I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family for a variety of facilities. The only thing I can think of is that it was raining otherwise it was first class

Good location. Food was also good. Staff were pleasant. The room my wife and were given ie 231 was in the roof void and had very low head room and during the course of short stay ie from 3.00pm Sun to 10.00am Mon my wife banged her head once and I did twice and still have the bruises and scabs. We were guests of a wedding which commenced at 1.00pm but our room was not ready until 3.00pm. Normally hotels have rooms ready before that time which was inconvienant as we had to obtain room and transfer goods from car during wedding.

Staff were friendly and the ambience relaxing The room could have been warmer on arrival. Radiator was turned right down and knowing the room was to be used it could have been set at a higher setting to give a more welcoming feel to the room

The staff and level of customer service was excellent throughout our stay. The meal in Linden Pub was very good as was breakfast. The room allocated was pleasant, but needed a little tlc. The tiling for the wc cistern panel in the bathroom was atrocious and had been siliconed into place and was unsightly. Wardrobe doors kept sliding open and the paintwork was generally shabby. The room was very noisy in the evenings due to what appeared to be the kitchen extractor fans. Not one of the best rooms we've stayed in for a weekend break which was disappointing.

Die Anlage mit Golf Course ist sehr schön, nicht zu weit vom Meer entfernt, und von Newcastle leicht zu erreichen.Das Frühstücksservice war sehr gut. Die Zimmer enthielten alle Mängel: Vorhang kaputt, keine Nachttischlampe,Fenster nicht zu öffnen, abgewohnt.Es bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung der Zimmer.

Poor overall service for an expensive hotel. The cupboard door fell down, but luckily our 1 year old was asleep in the bed and not standing in the path of this when I explained this to reception, nothing was done

Lovely country house style hotel. Large size swimming pool with jacuzzi . If we'd had more time I'm sure the spa facilities were good. Friendly and helpful staff especially on reception. Had room with disabled loo and shower for our elderly relative. We visited as a family group ( mature couple 2 young adult daughters and elderly grandma) for a family wedding nearby. If a folding wheelchair had been available this would have been a welcome addition. I would have preferred breakfast to have been included in the total cost.

Location, near to Alnwick Food in the pub was awful, the restaurant was fully booked on arrival so we were not able to eat there and the pub food was terrible. We informed 2 waiters that it was sub-standard when they enquired about our mean but neither did anything to recify the problem. Bathroom also neeed regrouting/thorough cleaning of tiles.

Wonderful central staircase, retaurant was very welcoming for both dinner and breakfast. Good spa facilities good access to pool for teenagers. Wifi would be useful. Changing area at spa was a bit tired and basic.
