With an excellent reputation for good food along with our 2 AA Rosette awarded candlelit dining room, you can soak up an atmosphere of intimate fine dining; a fabulous experience, especially when our Bösendorfer piano is being played. Our seasonal table d'hôte menu serving traditional English cuisine of locally sourced produce is complimented by fine wines. There’s something to suit all tastes and our chefs would be pleased to help with any particular dietary requirements.
All bedrooms are with en suite bathrooms. To see exactly what each room contains, please refer to the specific room description.
On the ground floor, there are 2 specially designed easy access bedrooms, each with their own car parking space.
Bowness is one of the few villages situated on the edge of the lake. The hotel specialises in sightseeing tours, golf, fishing, walking and mountain bike hire. However, the glacial landscape offers many more activities, all of which we can help arrange.
The Lake District is renowned for its great literary and cultural heritage such as William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Lindeth Howe is not only superbly located to visit all of these, but has plenty of leaflets on them as well.
