The view, location, owners and facilities were perfect. Sat on Saturday morning and watched the foxes patrolling the fields. Our dog was made more than welcome and we were warm and toasty on the coldest weekend of the year (so far!). Will certainly recommend it to friends and return.
I think you would struggle to find any issues.
Great stay for nye with Mr partner, they literally have everything ur ever need there, enjoyed the games had a few wines on the night with a meal, had orange juice eggs cheese ham in the fridge for us plus more which was a great touch!!! We are booking again for summer with friends
Great facilities with lovely views of countryside including sheep! Stayed with my daughter and were able to have 2 single beds rather than a double. Breakfast was left in the fridge for the weekend but had so much choice didn't eat it all!
Well equipped, comfortable bed very friendly and charming host will visit again.
That our stay was too short!
THe welcome we received after arriving much later than anticipated.tolerant and understanding.Likewise when leaving, flexible, cleaning lady great.
water oressure in shower poor but not able to be improved on
We loved the location and the house. It sits in the middle of a farm in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by sheep and birds. It was so peaceful and idyllic, with a patio and garden furniture to enjoy the surroundings, and a sunset over the Malvern Hills. The owner was lovely. The cottage was decorated tastefully, spotless clean and we immediately relaxed. The beds were great. Breakfast was ready in the fridge with different breads, croissants, fresh eggs, ham, cheese and jam. We were very sorry to leave and hope to return!
The shower isn't a power shower and so the water pressure wasn't great. But this is being nit-picky, it didn't matter at all, because everything else was perfect!
This is a character property in a beautiful rural location. The owner was extremely hospitable.
We were a little disappointed to be charged more than quoted. I believe this was a genuine misunderstanding on the part of the owner but we had made our situation clear at the outset.
very peaceful if you like sheep and birds
The accomodation was excellent and the welcome was very warm
nothing to dislike
Very peacefull if you like sheep and birds as much as we do. Good continental breakfast in fridge. Well equiped bungalow.
not very easy to find and long bumpy drive
Everything-the proprietors were excellent will stay again next time.
Great proprietors, excellent accommodation. good pubs in the area. quiet country situation
the peaceful location
Absolutely Everything! Very cosy apartment with everything you need for a good stay! Real country living style! Lovely views of The Malvern Hills and very close to Malvern, Tewkesbury, Ledbury, Worcester etc. Close to M5/M50 motorways. Owners very friendly and always there for you if need be! Ideal for couples, individuals and families of four. Very disabled friendly too! Pets also welcome! Ample parking! Will certainly be back sometime!
Nothing! Everything Fantastic!
First-rate accommodation at a very good price for this area - everything else in its class is twice the price. Beyond that, I was able to take two dogs, and at no extra cost - an arrangement which, as all two-dog-owners know, is virtually impossible to find. The cottage is exceptional: beautifully appointed, with a welcoming stock of food essentials for my (unfortunately short) stay. My hosts were welcoming and helpful in every way. I see from another review a recommendation to get (and follow!) Jenny's directions to the farm - not having done that, I can only say I agree!
The location was lovely, if a little remote. Had a great welcome
The sheep, but only because there was nowhere to walk a dog off lead unless you left the farm
A great place to stay, set in idyllic surroundings and with comfortable accommodation. We were looking for a short family break (incl. 2 kids and a dog) and this was perfect. The owners were really friendly and helpful. As a rural retreat in this area, especially with family/pets, Linhay would take some beating.
The setting was lovely, very peaceful and the patio overlooking the fields was a delight with the Malvern hills in the background.Mr and Mrs Barnes were a friendly and most accommodating couple, who made me feel very welcome. The continental breakfast was very plentiful and an excellent selection.I would definitely go back again, and would recommend it to others.
There was nothing to dislike.
Very quiet location but within easy reach of local facilities for walking and shopping
There was nothing to dislike
This was a very spacious one bed apartment. Warm and comfortable with lovely views out across the fields through the patio doors.
There is no signage from the road or even when you arrive. It felt like we were arriving on private property. Which it was really. More of a holiday cottage than a B&B. Lovely non the less and luckily the owners were there to reassure us we were in the right place. They required payment in cash too, which was not specified anywhere or mentioned in advance.
Everything was amazing. The owners were so friendly, accommodation stunning. This place is a real gem. Visitors will not be disappointed. My only disappointment was having to leave
Nothing. This is a place to be proud of.
Lovely people who run this accommodation, couldn't do enough for us. Very clean and well kept.
Excellent quiet location, which is what we needed. Had a very comfortable feel to the property.
Every thing about the place! A very good base for the hills.
The accommodation was excellent, warm and comfortable and very suitable for someone with mobility problems. The bathroom in particular was very big and as a wet room suitable for wheel chair users.
Several items did not work, eg the microwave, but there were plenty of alternatives to use. The toilet presented difficulties to an elderly visitor as there was nothing to give support when rising.
