This guesthouse was perfect. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a terrific weekend at Linhill. The landlord was helpful, the double room was extremely comfortable and the place a two minute walk from the town centre. Couldn't rate it highly enough

Owners very friendly and helpful lovely cooked breakfast, hot water...lots of it! Relaxing atmosphere. Creaky room doors, lumpy mattress, however when we mentioned it, we were told that new mattresses had been delivered and they were just waiting for new bases.

The welcome was fantastic, even got a phone call prior to arriving to say we could check in anytime we wanted! The breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent value for money! The decor is dated but it is far out weighed by the owners being so lovely, and the fantastic breakfast! it is also very good value for money.

Friendly staff and convenient location, within walking distance of the Stratford sights. A great breakfast! street parking only, no car park at the guest house. This was OK for the weekend, but during the week could be a problem.

Warm welcome from Diana - we were upgraded to a family room which was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Lovely, plentiful breakfast - full English, cereals, yoghurt and juice. There was a small kitchen where we could make drinks (tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided). Ideal location - just a few minutes walk from the railway station, theatres, shops, river and canal walks. Only one minor negative - the shower was little more than a dribble, which was a bit of a pain, but the pluses more than made up for this and I would definitely stay here again.

This Guest House is ideally situated for Startford Upon Avons charming Town Centre. The welcome is one of the best that I have ever received. Pleasant well mannered and smiling hosts is just what one needs when travelling. All facilities were adequatley explained by folks who obviously enjoy what they are doing. I would not hesitate to recommend this great find to anyone. My only minor dissapointment is the shared Toilet and shower area. This is not in anyway a complaint and I understand there are also en suite facilities available. In saying this, the toilet and shower area was spotless and to a high standard. Parking could also prove difficult as I had to search the local area to get free parking. It is understood that this is outwith the control of the Guest House Owners.
