Nice location just 30 min pleasant walk back from town all for a similar price of the out of town Travelodge but Linton Lodge is in a different league much better much cleaner and we will definitely stay again if we can get a similar cheap deal.”

The receptionist was excellent, very welcoming and helpful. I thought the facilities really comprehensive and of course its close proximity to the city centre was what most appealed to me. The shower.

Courtesy and support of the reception staff. The bath washbasin hot water was too hot, the shower not hot enough or strong enough. Continental breakfasts were weak and some added variety would have been desired.

The staff was very efficient and cordial. The location was excellent for what I had to do, and the price was good for the services, the location and the food, I would definitely go back there. I felt at home. There was one thing that I did not like, there were two days the bed was not made.

Car parking within walking distance of the city centre The wifi did not work in my room which meant I had to come to the bar to download emails and work, which was difficult as a tv was on constantly.

I booked a single room for 79pounds, but on arrival, I was informed this room was not available, and instead I was given a double room, but at additional cost. The hotel did not honour the Booking.com agreement.

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. It's an attractive building which is walkable from Oxford city centre (or a short cab ride). The mostly-French staff were delightful - friendly and helpful. Hotels in Oxford are expensive so although I would normally say it was a little expensive for what it is, it's no more than the going rate for the location Room was quite small and a little spartan, though clean and comfortable

We found the hotel poor value and the room shabby. The breakfast was uninspiring and the coffee stewed.

Friendly staff, young foreigners (Romania, France, etc.), esp. Man on desk, Josh, did a good job. Having to smoke at front door, but then that's the legislation is it not? Also the coffee in the bar was very weak.

Hotel staff are helpful and very friendly. There are noisy foot step sound in the morning , may be because of the floor made of wood. It will be great better if there is no noise in the morining

The room was clean and modern.. The room was above the kitchen, with the window opening onto the extractor fan and air conditioner. The room was noisy as they switched off at 11pm and on at 6am. The room was very small. I was hugely dissappointed as this is the 4th time I have stayed at this hotel. All my other stays have been pleasant. If this is how they treat repeat visitors then it is very poor indeed. Also I was not aware their was a shower only in the bathroom , as previously I have always had a shower and bath.

A nice place even if it has the feeling of being a couple of houses joined together to make a hotel! You would need to be in your full health to manage the stairs, corridors etc. - there is a lift but after reaching upper floors there can be quite a walk to rooms.
