Staff were excellent Food excellent and well worth the two rosettes location for what I wanted to do It is a listed building so NOT disable friendly - lots and lots of stairs and no lift. Both nights disturbed by rowdy and inconsiderate guests - not the only person to complain furniture in bedroom could have been better - bigger desk especially All electric plugs at low level and under the desk - not very clever and difficult to get at?

The food was very good except for the starter on the first night when it was miniscule. The bedroom was very small and had a tiny wardrobe and was on the second floor with steep stairs. The shower had mold around the base and it was not worth £139 per night- definitely not DELUXE as described.

The staff responded to our issue with by moving us from a dreadful room. The room we were booked into was on the street, which is very busy at all hours! The windows are not sound proof and it was impossible to sleep. Also, one of the windows was missing a blind, so it was not only noisy but too bright. In the morning I noticed ear plugs on the bedside table. For 120 pounds per night one would expect to be able to sleep. This room should come with a warning when you check in. We were moved to a quiet room on our second night, without charge. If you stay at this hotel demand a room that does not face the street, or be prepared for a dreadful night.

Pleasant Staff, location and parking Our room was overlooking main road, could hear traffic from 6 am. Could have made better use of wardrobe space. No Fridge in the room. Seats in bar area not very comfortable could have made better use softer chairs instead of hard backed chairs.

We liked the ambiance and decoration and location. Also very nice restaurant and food. We thought that the bed was too narrow, just a few inches wider would have been so much more comfortable. A bit noisy at night, hence I suppose the ear plugs beside the bed!
