    Comfortable room.

    Given a ground floor room with a window that opened onto the street. Only one position of opening window which made it easily wide enough for someone to climb in. also bathroom slightly grotty in corners of tiles around bath. Worked in lounge for a couple of hours as had to pay extra for late checkout. Had to listen to regional manager / manager meeting discussing profit trends, offers, sales etc. I didn't think that this was very professional. At breakfast my arrival in dining room wasn't acknowledged, I just helped myself and eventually had to find someone to get a cup of coffee. No one ever took my room number.

    Our room was newly refurbished and had an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find, even without a SAT NAV! The food was hot and very good. Served on very hot plates.

    There were lots of stairs to negotiate as we were given a second floor room.

    Staff were very helpful and kept checking that we were very comfortable. Lots of added extras, toiletries, fruit water etc. Excellent hotel, would recommend.

    Sat Nav took us to the front of the hotel and initially were worried about where we booked. When we got to the back of the hotel / car park this gave a completely different impression. Please don't be put off if you approach from Worksop high street.

    free upgrade to larger room.

    the menu was limited and the execution was not particularly great. Service was slow and my glass had lipstick from previous consumer. Car park was full.

    Stayed here to attend a local wedding. The family room facility was brilliant...it was like a flat. Was expecting a very large room but was happy to find it was 2 bedrooms, living room, large bathroom and kitchen with enough space. Comfortable sleep and will go back.

    We were on our way home and stayed a couple of nights here to visit N.T. properties. The room was nice and the food excellent.

    Some idiot in a room near ours thought it would be nice for everyone to hear his music from 11pm till 2.30am. As we were leaving early for the trip home NOT AMUSED. We rang reception to complain but it still went on. I always carry some ear plugs with me but the noise even went through them. This spoilt an otherwise enjoyable weekend and we would stay there again.

    Staff were friendly and helpful.

    The décor really needed updating. The pelmet in the room blocked out three quarters of the light from the small window and the bedside light was too bright and close to the bed.

    The staff, facilities and food were great! Cannot fault anything except the wi-fi was very slow, would definitely recommend this hotel!

    This was my second visit, very convenient for local business trip so the free Wifi a bonus. As before clean, comfortable friendly and good food.

    staff in reception very helpfull on arrival and during the whole of our stay and even though we arrived earlier than scheduled we were allowed to check in to our room which was very nice.

    not a great selection in the fruit line or cereals on breakfast table and menu could be improved in bar/grill ie same soup for two days and same item on specials board for two days.

    The toilet did not flush properly the rooms were cold they had small blow heaters as the radiators did not work. A very noise area.

    Parking was very easy. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I booked a single room and was given a suite which consisted of kitchen, lounge, bathroom and a single and double bedroom. Full Sky TV in both the double room and the lounge on good sized TV's. The room was quiet and the double bed was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate with a decent over-bath shower, a heated towel rail and a bidet. The bar which is also used by locals was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was very good.

    The suite was quite a trek from the reception as it was on the ground floor but you have to go up to the first floor and then back down to get to it. This involved lots of fire doors, twists and turns and up and down stair cases which was a bit disorientating but would be a problem for someone that was disabled or had lots of heavy cases. The heating went off late in the evening and the room got quite cold however the hotel had provided electric fan heaters. Non of this detracted from a really pleasant stay.

    I was quoted £198 for the the room, on arrival I informed the the receptionist that there would only be myself staying, on check out I was informed that my bill was £208 I informed the receptionist as to my travel arrangement change and my bill was amended to £196 how can this be correct when its £12.50 for a breakfast x 2 = £25 . £198-£25 = £173 and where did the £208 come from? who sets the pricing policy? I'm totally confused!!!

    The location was spot on we loved the pubs surrounding it the staff were polite and pleasant rooms were clean and tidy beds comfortable
