freindly staff and great room
The staff, the food the entertainment was brilliant, it was our second stay cant wait for the third
We got a nice upgrade to a suite. It was very nice roomy and comfortable. Thank you will stay again.
We were visiting family nearby and needed a comfortable stay for a couple of nights. The hotel is on the high street so may be busy at times but is good for location. The rooms are pleasant for the price and staff are pleasant.
The hotel has function rooms that can be noisy until quite late into the evening.
Nice room, was clean and warm. Bed was comfortable.
Room wasn't as nice as the last time I stayed was smaller and had no fridge, which I was expecting. Bathroom had a stagnant/drain smell which was unpleasant. Had to run the extractor all night. The room door didn't fit properly and would bang with the wind. Sounding like someone knocking the door all night. Had to wedge with some cardboard.
Large room relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
the position of the hotel the room was very nice, one of the nicest I ever stayed in the staff were very helpful I would stay there again
I had a premium room ,very dated ,but clean, did expect a little more luxury I think ,
Sky sports TV
Banging pipework kept awake all night
Stayed here a few times now and find all the rooms very comfortable, spacious and clean and cosy. All mod cons provided and the restaurant provides good wholesome food.
Good location pleasant staff
Difficult layout bedroom a bit small
The staff are extremely attentive and friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable. I arrived early but they called as soon as the room was ready so I didn't have too long to wait around. The restaurant staff service was very good as was the reception staff. My stay was a pleasure and I would stay again.
Easy to find and access to other areas such as Clumber park. Would definitely stop there again. Travelling back home to Washington from Reading.
Master switch for heating. We arrived late and found the room cold. Put the heating on in order to have a shower unfortunately by the time we had a meal and a drink the heating had gone off.
We have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and have always been very happy and comfortable here. We find the staff all very pleasant and helful.
The quality of the evening meals leave a bit to be desired but breakfast is very good.
Clean, good facilities
Free parking, wifi, large room
Noisy fan, late breakfast times
Free wifi and good breakfast
Very uncomfortable bed
Given a ground floor room with a window that opened onto the street. Only one position of opening window which made it easily wide enough for someone to climb in. also bathroom slightly grotty in corners of tiles around bath. Worked in lounge for a couple of hours as had to pay extra for late checkout. Had to listen to regional manager / manager meeting discussing profit trends, offers, sales etc. I didn't think that this was very professional. At breakfast my arrival in dining room wasn't acknowledged, I just helped myself and eventually had to find someone to get a cup of coffee. No one ever took my room number.
Our room was newly refurbished and had an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find, even without a SAT NAV! The food was hot and very good. Served on very hot plates.
There were lots of stairs to negotiate as we were given a second floor room.
Staff were very helpful and kept checking that we were very comfortable. Lots of added extras, toiletries, fruit water etc. Excellent hotel, would recommend.
Sat Nav took us to the front of the hotel and initially were worried about where we booked. When we got to the back of the hotel / car park this gave a completely different impression. Please don't be put off if you approach from Worksop high street.
free upgrade to larger room.
the menu was limited and the execution was not particularly great. Service was slow and my glass had lipstick from previous consumer. Car park was full.
Stayed here to attend a local wedding. The family room facility was brilliant...it was like a flat. Was expecting a very large room but was happy to find it was 2 bedrooms, living room, large bathroom and kitchen with enough space. Comfortable sleep and will go back.
We were on our way home and stayed a couple of nights here to visit N.T. properties. The room was nice and the food excellent.
Some idiot in a room near ours thought it would be nice for everyone to hear his music from 11pm till 2.30am. As we were leaving early for the trip home NOT AMUSED. We rang reception to complain but it still went on. I always carry some ear plugs with me but the noise even went through them. This spoilt an otherwise enjoyable weekend and we would stay there again.
This hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff, food, room and location were excellent. I would definitely stay again.
The friendliness of the staff so helpful & eager to ensure we had had a good stay with you. Thank you.
