A traditional building on the outside with a clean, modern feel inside. A new management team are ready to welcome you to your home in Hampton Court. The Liongate is a traditional English townhouse dating back to 1721 and stands proudly overlooking Bushy Park, adjacent to Hampton Court Palace. Our newly refurbished restaurant offers a great selection of dishes throughout the day; breakfast, a light lunch or make an evening of it with our contemporary bar and restaurant. A new Restaurant Manager and new Chef brigade will ensure an excellent dining experience. On the second floor the Park Suite, which enjoys spectacular views over Bushy Park, is an ideal venue for private functions or meetings. Let our conference and banqueting team arrange all the details and you do not even need to leave the hotel. Located just 10 miles from Heathrow airport and surrounded by numerous places of interest, the hotel is an ideal choice for both business travel and vacations. Rooms are either in the main hotel or across the road in the Liongate Mews. Unfortunately due to the age of the historic hotel, we do not have an elevator in either building. Great value, in great location for our purpose and surrounded by lovely parks. Everyone attentive, and for the price charged, decor etc. etc. were all fine. The hotel could improve without any exta outlay by getting the cleaners to spray some bleach around bath and shower silicon edges where a little mildew always tends to grow - and also remember to clean the floor behind the door into the bathroom!

The location was perfect as our visit was to see Hampton Court Castle & Gardens. The staff were all polite & efficient. Availability of car park was good. There was no restaurant, but I gathered from the Internet there was. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, inside & out. Very disappointing. Rooms are very cramped and no drawer space.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location for anyone going to Hampton Court couldn't be better - a real bonus for the business traveller to be able to visit a great historic location literally just across the street. The room was huge. Not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but for the money you cannot fault the place, clean, comfortable and with a really good Italian restaurant 200 yards away.

position and parking good. Staff very freindly and breakfast fairly good. the whole place needs an extensive refurb so the price probably reflects this ... the room we were given needed a total refit and decoration and not a place to take any one to impress! The owners should invest heavily and then market at a different price as it is an excellent location.

The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Making up the room consisted of partially tucking in the quilt under the mattress. The squeaky floor was annoying. The temperature of the shower was very difficult to set. The shower is connected to the bath taps; after setting the temperature, the water is scalding when it is transferred to the shower. Also, moving the shower head up increases the temperature.

The position is great, right next to Hampton Court and within walking distance of Kingston. The hotel is extremely scruffy, but clean. Could do with a total refurbishment but then the price would go up accordingly! You get what you pay for I guess.
