Furniture in room was tatty, Booked single but given a double. Housekeeping finished at 2.45pm, and as Reception did not inform me of this my room was not cleaned or items replenished. Manager offered me a discount for a future visit; but who wishes to stay in a tatty room with a lack of communication between staff and guest? Thus won't be taking up the offer. There are far better hotels in Leeds to stay at for a similar price. Try the Roomz Aparthotel next door or the Park Plaza;Hilton; Holiday Inn Express or Travelodge for a cheapie, The Marriott is great but more expensive.

This was not my first time stayin at the hotel. And i would stay again no problem. there was ten girls travelling and they were very nice and friendly. It is centrally located on the main shopping street beside the pubs and clubs great location and excellant hotel. We had booked 5 twin rooms and wanted to change one to a double room when we arrived they done it without any fuss. If your looking for a great hotel with friendly staff excellant loction and does not cost an arm and leg look no further. i have had no plans. and would go back again

Hotel was close to station.Staff were welcoming and helpful with directions/advice/early morning cal etc (and included a complimentary glass of wine) My room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was very good A minor matter as I really just needed a room to sleep in but the television was faulty .I did not bother to report it at the time but it would have been useful to be able to watch the tv news in the morning

We were asked to open a tab on our credit card. Not a problem in itself but we were then told after £30 we had exceeded our tab, normally it is left open. This amount doesn't go far when you have lunch. I first was sent backwards and forwards between the bar and reception, then my husband experienced the same.

I liked the location of the hotel. The Hotel lobby, conference room and restaurant were very nice. The room, I apologise I don't remember the number, was very dated and not competively priced. My room was specified as an Executive Double but I wouldn't say there anything executive about it. Although, in fairness, the room was a generous size it just didn't live up to the billing ("fat backed" telly with a digibox, and a manual 1930's radio fitted to the wall) A number of my party were staying at local hotels (Ibis, Bewleys, Holiday Inn and The Travel Inn) and all were cheaper than the £57.

Well located with friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. Our room was to the front and we found it really difficult to sleep due to traffic, noise on street and disco music. Moreover, the room was unbearably warm to the point where I felt nauseated. Opening the window helped short term but once closed the heat built up again.

Central to the town centre and it had a great bar and restaurant Shame that the hot water didn't work when we came back to the room. When we spoke to the staff they said it was an old hotel and there's nothing they could do other than move us. Not good at 02:00!!!

The mattress was awful, hard and bowed in the centre - our room was on the corner of the two roads and opposite a night club - noisy and loud until 6am every night. Room service food was awful, everything smelt like grease

King-size room turned out to have a very small window almost in the ceiling. The room was wery hot and stuffy but you can't open the window in full. There was no air conditioning - only a fan at the ceiling (worked rather well). The bath, sink and the floor were all scratched. The towels were rather old, though clean.

I thought the hotel staff were very friendly from the moment we got there and helpful in directing our group to the nightlife close by. Meals could have been cheaper but there is plenty close by.

Very clean not only room but the hotel itself. Comfortable beds. Staff very friendly n professional. The pictures of rooms on the website made me think that the room will be a lot bigger than it was, therefore we were a little bit disappointed with the size. Plus I read on the website that there will be bathrobes in the room - where? Why is it called executive? There simply was no difference between standard n this one.

Reasonably priced for a twin room fairly close to the train station in Leeds. I did not eat in the hotel, so cannot comment on the quality of food/drink. I felt that the room were fairly dated and decor could do with some care and attention. My room was fairly comfortable, but noisy due to my room being close to a generator of some sort.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. My only complaint would be that your hot water seems to be rather hit and miss. I have now stayed with you four times and have always had to run the water for ages to get it hot enough to have a comfortable bath in. Last week the water was only ever warm - not hot and I got out og the bath feeling cold.

It was reasonably close to the city centre The price of the evening meal and breakfast were very high for what you got. The breakfast appeared to come out of a microwave oven then heated under a grill and for £10 I expected more. The bedroom decor seems to be quite dated.

The bed in the executive king-room. Lushhhhhhhh :) The manager upgraded us to a king-room because the double room we had paid for wasn't up to standards in regards to cleanliness. The manager was really nice to us. The first room we arrived in wasn't upto standards due to it being unclean. However, the second room we stayed in was great and the cleanliness was acceptable.

Room was comfortable Noise was very loud, christmas party music from the function room was blaring out till late from downstairs, coupled with drunken screaming party goers which could be heard cleary in my room. Also had issues with the 'near by parking' ended up costing 17.50 for one night, which if I had been advised of correctly should have been alot less with the parking token.
