Staff were really nice and helped us out with our special request.
Excellent location, extremely helpful and friendly staff, rooms comfortable, clean, free wifi, cheap
Noise from nightclubs keeping me awake, half tv channels didnt work.
Room lovely and clean. Hair dryer and ironing board provided in room, toiletries provided, shoe shine, sewing kit. Thought of everything. Hotel close to bars so great for night life. Easy walking distance from market and shops.
Our room was very close to a bar behind hotel ,music obviously went on for a while. Next time maybe another room would be ideal
Noisy bar nearby till late
I think the location was good and handy for the event I was attending. The staff were friendly and professional. They were happy to keep hold of the bags after checkout. I was able to check in although i arrived early. the room was clean and comfortable. the shower was really powerful and they had thought of everything
The door to the corridor felt flimsy and not secure. the corridor was noisy when other guests returned. not the hotels fault but as a single traveller it didn't feel great
The room, facilities and manners of your staff were excellent and a great value room for a business stay or otherwise. Reception staff were extreamly pleseant and the glass of wine during arrival was very welcoming.
Wi-Fi reception was not good and very slow.
My room (one of the executive rooms) was very nicely decorated and impeccably clean. Reception staff were all very friendly. Great shower pressure. The most comfortable chairs I have encountered in a hotel room. I had great wifi reception in my room, just ask for the password on check-in.
Breakfast was not brilliant and the lady who was on staff in the breakfast area was not so great - maybe just a bad day. There was an occasional loud noise near my room that sounded almost like someone yodeling badly - my best guess is that it was actually water in a pipe or tap of a nearby room? Noise from surrounding nightlife, although as I stayed on a weeknight it didn't go on too long. No teabags in my tea and coffee area - just a small detail.
Perfect location for a night out in the best area of Leeds. Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was for a small double - it was perfect for our needs.
The room next door had a wake up call at 6.00 am and we heard the alarm and him answering. Couldn't get back to sleep properly after that!
Location Warm greeting with glass of wine
Decor, needs new carpets and decorating.
the Location was in the center of the city, so it easy to take a taxi or buses.
the behavior of the employee that in the reception were not the behavior that the customers want or need.
The staff are extremely thoughtful and helpful; quick to respond to requests and often anticipating my needs. The restaurant food is generally of a high standard, although I found the breakfast to be just adequate. Although the building is quite old, the decor is pleasant, modern and comfortable. The location is ideal for a city centre break; close to the train station, long stay car parks, shops and nightlife. I would happily stay again and recommend this hotel.
The mattress in my room felt rather old and uncomfortable; the bed was not well made up, and the extra blanket in the wardrobe I used to try and even out the lumps in the duvet had suspicious stains. However, once I'd wrestled the bed into submission, I slept well enough for the two nights I stayed. Had I been staying longer I would probably have raised these issues with a member of staff and I'm confident they would have been dealt with politely and promptly.
This hotel is in a great location right in the centre of Leeds only a 5 minute walk to the new Trinity centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and the rooms are very well equipped. The hotel is very individual and extremely clean too. We had clean towels on both days of our stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxing.
Our room was warm but the room did have a ceiling fan which helped a lot as you aren't able to open windows. There are areas of the hotel that need updating including the room we were in. But this didn't affect our stay at all and we will be visiting again soon. The price of drinks is quite high but I think this is to be expected in most hotels!
Many thanks for the upgraded room. Reception staff v helpful and friendly. Will be staying there again most definitely.
Spacious, good wifi coverage, robes provided
Bedrooms a bit shabby, windows broken, duvet too small for the bed, only hard foam pillows rather than feather
Great staff - all pleasant at all times of the day and night!
Bed was a 3/4 not a double
Very friendly staff and found the location very handy
Bed too comfy :-)
There was alot of noise with other customers especially the doors
Clean and comfortable, close to town centre and transport.Very economical.
Staff attitude at evening reception when dealing with a few problems. Biggest complaint? Kettle blew up and poured out thick black smoke which didn't trigger the smoke alarm, very worrying. Staff very offhand when I pointed out this obvious safety hazard. Paid for breakfast when checking in but this was not passed to dining room staff who left us standing in the middle of the room while he checked we had paid made us feel like we were trying to steal a breakfast. Much needed staff training especially attitude when dealing with problems.
Very comfortable, excellent service from staff, ideal location
Building was a little tired and in need of a little updating.
Poor overnight parking facilities - have to move car before 9am to benefit from overnight rate.
Walking distance to First Direct Arena, shops and restaurants. Easy accessible parking facilities. Room (206) spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and curtious they aim to please. Would stay here again and recommend for these reasons
Some noise but expect that as it's central Leeds.
The pictures made out it was extremely modern, however as you went to your rooms the decor went from 21 century to the 19th. .. its a nice place. But its just a standerd hotel. Not modern at all
Staff fantastic always helpful. And early check in if notice given. Would stay again.
Would love fridge but apart from that no problem.
The location was excellent, right in the heart of the action. Lovely place and people, this will definatley be our place to stay in the city!
there was a big industrial fan/vent outside our window which was a little noisy. we stayed in room 206
Location is very handy for town centre
Some rooms can be noisy with the street below
