The beds were comfy and the spa facilities were very good.
The staff in the restaurant were terrible. Requests for things were ignored and we had to keep reminding them to the point that it became a bit of a joke!
Had treatment in spa was lovely food very good
Nothing we didnt like
Staff Breakfast . View
Decor looked dated and tatty in room 312 Old electric fire Poor shower needs modernising Dated furniture
Lovely venue with great services & friendly staff.... Treatments we're very good & spa was lush...!

We booked a standard room but hotel gave us a disabled man room
Staff could,nt be more helpful. nothing to much trouble, food very good
wi fi not very good in room.
liked the room and facilities
the price was a lot for one night and our breakfast was cold
No suitably positioned mirrors within main bedroom or mirror in bathroom with an electric socket.
Location, staff, food, the list is endless!
Nothing, couldn't fault it!
Being together in peaceful surroundings.
A little disappointed on this occassion. It was my fiancee 50th birthday. There was no champagne in the room as requested. No bottles of water, had to ask the following day. The beds were single pushed together.
The canal side location and the Waterside restaurant - attentive staff and excellent food at reasonable prices. Very pleased to see extensive use of energy saving LED lighting throughout the establishment.
Cracked wash basin in room 119 - unbelievable for a 4 star establishment
Restaurant food and service Location
The staff were friendly and helpful and the choices at breakfast were good. Nice bar areas to sit in and there is a lovely patio area overlooking the canal. We booked an executive room overlooking the canal and watched the long boats go by - very pleasant stay.
The first executive room we were shown was not up to standard at all, but when we asked to be moved we were given a much better and larger room.
Great buffet breakfast. Loved the view of the canal from our room.
Couldn't get wifi working. Very disappointed. Quite noisy on our floor. Could hear noise from room next door.
Great location and setting
Over priced food and bad service in the restaurant a massive let down. Won't go back.
The place was nice and clean, nothing was old like some
The wifi just had so many issues to get on. Would take 30 minutes to find it if it did. We stay 3 different days and same problem.
Male staff in the gymnasium making sexist remarks about my spouse
Food was excellent . Service very good
Waited to be served a drink in the reception bar for quite a while
excellent location, lovely comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast
evening meal was ok, sirloin steak was very tough and chocolate from fondue dessert was very bitter
The doors on the bedroom balcony could not be opened fully due to a window blind not being able to retract enough, the service in the dining area was poor, to many young people with no customer skills, we were waiting and waiting for our meal, my wife ordered a particular dessert specifying it must be hot, it came cold, and considering the cost i don't believe it was value for money.
free use of an excellent spa well worth the money
the first receptionist could do with a bit of training on friendliness and diction - I had trouble understanding her and she was robotic. Every other member of staff was friendly, helpful and, indeed, charming
